Wow! I had to get some tasty treats to bring to a birthday celebration at work, and was stumped. We have both a vegan coworker and a coworker with celiac disease, and I wanted to get some treats that everyone could enjoy and pick whatever they wanted from the assortment. City Cakes & Cafe to the rescue! Delicious! Amazing! Adorable tasty cupcakes and truly decadent peanut butter chocolate bars and chocolate cookies! I can't wait to come back to try the snickerdoodles, ginger cookies, scones and muffins. Yay! I'm so glad I found out about this place!

Thanks to city cakes for always being our go to for birthday events! The Cupcakes are to die for. They also did our wedding cake, which left people shocked it was vegan. If you ever have a sweet tooth craving, this is the place to be. The Cinnamon rolls are my absolute obsession.

I ordered my daughter's 16th birthday cake, and it was AMAZING! We got marble cake with strawberry filling and chocolate buttercream.... it was BEAUTIFUL. It tasted delicious, and best yet....vegan! :) Our whole family loved it. We will be customers for as long as we live here.

Mrs. Backer’s is a gem! I ordered a 1/4 sheet pan of vanilla cake with lemon buttercream in the middle, and it was so good. While the cake itself was a tad dry, the frosting was an absolute 10/10—perfectly creamy and flavorful. The quick, ready-to-pick-up turnaround made the experience even better. Walking into the shop, you’re greeted by the most delightful aromas that make you want to buy one of everything. Plus, they have the cutest knickknacks to browse while waiting in line. This place is a must-visit for anyone craving delicious baked goods!

Has to be the best bakery I have visited since living here in Utah! You can feel the love and the tradition that comes with the many years of experience as you walk in the door and are presented with a wide range of cakes, cookies and cupcakes. Everything that I got was so fresh and delicious.

Amazing service and pastries. The danishies are so good. I had the raspberry and it did not disappoint. The small pieces of cake are fresh and delicious. No matter what you decide to get you will not be disappointed.

I definitely recommend Granite Bakery for your wedding cake needs. They worked with us when we asked for a sunflower theme. The chocolate cake with buttercream frosting was delicious and the cupcakes in chocolate, vanilla, and almond poppy were a big hit with our open house guests. When we went in to pick up the cake, I also tried a mini eclair, and it was heavenly.

Thank you so much for being a beautiful and delicious part of our wedding!! This was the most affordable and yummy gluten free wedding cake I'd tasted in Utah. I'm so glad I got the size I did because I didn't want to share it was so good!
