3 Best Hotels in Milwaukee, WI

We were in Milwaukee for a Volleyball Tournament which was held at Baird Center so it was very convenient to stay at the Hyatt since it has a skywalk connected to the Baird Center. Service was excellent, everyone from front desk (checking in and out), housekeeping, staff at Julep (restaurant/bar) and valet did such an excellent job with their professional customer service, smiling during the interactions, they showed interest in one. The hotel itself is nicely located by the Baird Center and another Arena. There are many restaurants within walking distance and there’s a Starbucks in the hotel’s lobby. That Starbucks was heaven for early morning breakfast. The food at Julep was amazing! We had a late finish for our Volleyball tourney and were tired, didn’t feel like going out so we ordered burgers from Julep. That was the best meal we had eaten all day! The burgers were cooked just as requested and the fries were so fresh. The room we stayed in was a 2 Queen, the bed was comfortable, but the pillows were not comfortable (imo). The bathroom although clean was small, the space between toilet and shower and sink was very reduced. The water pressure in the shower was amazing! I think that’s the one thing my family and I agreed we absolutely loved. Overall, we were treated well, ate well, rested well and if ever in Milwaukee, I recommend to stay at the Hyatt Regency.

I treated my brother to go see the Heart and Cheap Trick concert in March to celebrate us both retiring. We saw the same show together 50 years earlier. We booked at the Hyatt since it was so close to the Fiserv Arena. Plenty of restaurants/bars close by. I checked in with parking and we were promptly greeted and instructed our options for valet or self serve. Hotel was hopping with a convention. We were greeted by Cristina and Chandra with huge smiles and a very pleasant attitude. They were so busy but you can tell they loved their jobs. They got me checked in as a world of Hyatt member. Great room on the 18th floor away from the elevators as requested when initially booked. Lobby, elevators, hallways and especially our room was spotless and very inviting. Amenities were perfect. Beds were extremely comfortable and had our extra pillows as requested. Shower had great pressure and plenty of hot water. Check out was easy and we were both pleased to see Cristina at the desk again. We have stayed in Chicago for concerts many times. Milwaukee Hyatt is by far the best.

I had booked a different hotel in town but after seeing reviews on its parking situation looked for a different one and found this. So glad I did. The nice secure indoor garage with a sky walk to the hotel was so helpful with the cold wind and rain during my stay. The check in and check out staff was really nice. The towel count in the room was odd, 2 kids 2 adults but only 3 bath towels, 2 hand, and 2 wash cloths. It didn't matter as I only ended up using one towel but if everyone had tried to shower we'd have been short. I really liked the lack of bed spreads in the room, just a multi layered sheet and blanket combo. As a former housekeeper I never liked the bedspreads so it made me really happy to see they weren't used. The beds were ridiculously comfortable and we slept like babies. We slept so well we checked out at 5am because we were up and rested.

We only stayed for one night due to a concert but our stay was great from what we experienced. Everyone at the service desk was super pleasant and helpful. I would have loved to experience more. This place was beautiful. I will say though for future guests, sometimes the digital key doesn't work in the garage. But don't worry! Print your ticket, enter the garage then the front desk will help with the rest. Other than that I can't comment on any of the dining aspects.

it's an incredibly beautiful place, I love how much of the historical look they've preserved. our room was recently renovated and very nice to stay in. the convenience factor being attached to the Baird Center is next level. parking is very convenient, and I would definitely stay here if we were to attend Midwest Gaming Classic again in the future.

I have stayed here multiple times when I visit Milwaukee. The staff is the best in the city. This is a historic hotel of America. Beautiful lobby area. The rooms aren’t the greatest but the building is currently under renovation. I suspect once finished they will use those rooms and renovate the older rooms they are renting now. Great hotel.
