DAIKOKUYA RAMEN REVIEWS
Wonderful dining experience we had at this restaurant. We were there on a Thursday before 5pm so we didn’t have to wait. Our waiter was really helpful and efficient with everything. The broth of ramen was delicious and the noodles had the perfect texture. I enjoyed it a lot. I ordered their Daikoku Ramen with small Pork Cutlet Bowl. It was equally tasty. So were all the other plates. Personally I think their price is very reasonable. Their friendly staff certainly was a big part of the wonderful experience over there.
Amazing ramen. We got the vegetarian broth which tasted just like a liquefied salad would taste like (if you like veggies this is really good). Then we also got the traditional pork bowl, it was just a savory umami mixed with some simple noodles. We got the combinations for both of these. The salad is just shredded cabbage but the dressing is a sesame miso flavor, and made the cabbage great. The rice and pork cutlets were good and helped make this a completely filling meal. The only down side was the combos are expensive
This ramen is top tier!! Amazing must stop in Downtown Los Angeles. Get the original Daikokuya ramen or the Spicy Miso Ramen. Both fire!!! I got a side of Spicy Miso Bomb to make ramen a bit more spicy which was nice. Definitely try the fried rice. Amazing!! Even for leftover it’s even better with some soy sauce and hot sauce. Definitely check out this LA institution and landmark.

YAMASHIRO REVIEWS
Great Japanese fusion restaurant. Classic Japanese dishes along with very unique twists on classics. Waiter was super friendly and attentive. Food was excellent and comes in large quantities, perfect for sharing. Their desert menu is actively rotated. Being situated on top of a large hill gives an amazing view of LA and Hollywood, especially at night, while keeping away the noise of traffic and life. Prices were high, but for the service, food, and atmosphere all worth it. Highly recommended.

TATSU RAMEN REVIEWS
Tatsu still ranks in my top five ramen restaurants in the Los Angeles area. When I first moved here, trying to get a seat in the area was a task in itself. Time passes, and there is much more competition in the ramen world now than in years gone by. Even so, tatsu remains relevant in the conversation of great Ramen spots to eat at. They have a nice variety of dishes. There is plenty of ramen to enjoy. I recommend the Bold ramen the most. Plus, there are also vegetarian options available if you desire something less heavy. Give it a try, and don't forget to slurp loudly! As a side note, the Melrose location serves katsu fried sandwiches. It's the only location to have that honor. You can choose chicken, pork, or egg. Lightly breaded and served between Japanese milk bread. It's a nice tasty treat!
This Ramen was bursting with flavors! The wrap was good but fell apart immediately and was difficult to eat. The spice and flavor were balanced very well. I ate all of mine and I usually leave some of the broth but not this time. Nice portions of meat don’t forget to add the seasoned egg!! Will definitely come back for more!!
So after a year of living in this area and trying at least a dozen ramen places around LA, this one is my favorite. The noddles Chasu, broth, and Woodear mushrooms are on point. But the reason why it’s my favorite and why I’ve now gone to this place a second time is the special cane sugar soda they have on fountain refills. Few ramen places have fountain soda, but this place has a special sugar cane brand. It’s incredible.
