" 'Statue of Liberty' was built on October 28, 1886, and founded in 1924 as a National Monument. The Statue of Liberty is 305 feet (93 meters) tall, came to the US as a gift from France to celebrate the centenary. The Memorial provides views from several webcams mounted on a torch of the Statue. It offers free English-language guided tours of the island of Liberty throughout the day which take 30-45 minutes. This is quite different from the way past generations judged the Statue of Liberty. It provides personal attention, and insightful audio tours discuss monument building and restoration. Guided tours and ferries are available."

"National 11 September Memorial Museum commemorates and honors the 2,983 people killed in the 11 September 2001, and 26 February 1993 attacks. The architecture of the Memorial includes two reflective pools shaped in the footprints of the original Twin Towers surrounded by white oak trees. It also explores the global impact of 11 September and its enduring importance through educational programs, public events, live talks, and films. They give educational guided tours and self-guided visits. It affords free admission for children under 7. Wheelchairs, strollers mechanized scooters are available."
