“9/11 Memorial & Museum offers visitors an opportunity to learn and explore the victims of the 9/11 and 1993 attacks. The museum remembers and honours the 2,983 people killed in the horrific attacks of September 11, 2001 and February 26, 1993, and those who risked their lives to save other people and all who demonstrated extraordinary compassion in the aftermath of the attacks. Visitors and children can get to know about the museum through the interactive video experience by choosing different paths through the Museum’s vast spaces and exhibitions. The museum inscribed the names of 2,983 victims on 152 bronze parapets on the memorial pools. 9/11 Memorial & Museum features a survivor tree, which recovered from the rubble at the World Trade Centre site in October 2001. The museum has a wide range of collections which include more than 40,000 images, more than 3,500 oral recordings, 14,000 artifacts and over 500 hours of video. ”
