"Pete Lobert is the founder of The Care Center. He is a Level 2 certified EMDR practitioner, the highest level offered by the EMDR Institute. He completed an internship providing group therapy for men struggling with sexual issues or a history of domestic violence, in a program run in conjunction with the State of Ohio. With over 12 years of experience specializing in trauma recovery and marital/couples counseling. Pete Lobert has guided hundreds of couples in transforming their relationships from conflict and stagnation to ones built on mutual respect, affection, and emotional connection. Pete Lobert’s professional journey has encompassed working in diverse settings, including a large community mental health agency, a medium-sized group practice, and a smaller private practice. At The Care Center, he provides counseling services that address a range of emotional challenges. He is also dedicated to assisting marriages and couples facing challenges such as infidelity, blended family dynamics, ongoing conflict, communication problems, and relationship crises.
2026 Update: Pete Lobert has provided counseling and interventions for troubled teens and their families in their homes and has also served as a group therapy facilitator for the State of Ohio."
