I really enjoyed this restaurant! The food was great and the service was amazing! Our server Carlos gave us really nice choices and went above and beyond to meet our requests, without doubt his service made our experience great! The atmosphere was enjoyable, this is a good place to have a conversation while having good music in the background. We will be back.

We visited Taco Boy during our vacation in Charleston. Taco Boy was recommended to us by one of the vendors at the city market. Our food was insanely good. Their queso is amazing. I also recommend the birria tacos, I loved them! We had great service here and the look of the restaurant is spot on.

I was really happy to come here! As the food was really good and the service was great!! Me, my wife and my little brother enjoyed the time and the atmosphere! Please ask for Carlos! He is the best and he will level up your experience.

EL JEFE TEXICAN CANTINA REVIEWS

The taco platter here is great - I loved that I could do a mix and match of taco styles and toppings (the tempura avocado and surf and turf were particularly great). I had a great margarita. too, thanks to our server, Reid, who was helpful with recommendations and quick with service.

i really enjoyed everything about this restaurant. food was so delicious & our waitress, maddie was lovely and great, really great server, overall experience 10/10.

With so many restaurants on King Street it is hard to decide. We picked El Jefe Cantina and were very pleased. The frozen margaritas were very good. The atmosphere is definitely Tex Mex and very lively. Our server was extremely pleasant and did a great job explaining the menu. A very good experience.

SANTI'S RESTAURANTE MEXICANO REVIEWS

Love! Love! LOVE!! So glad my daughter suggested Santi’s…it is funky, the food is delicious, and the servers are friendly and attentive. The salsa has just a hint of heat and the chips were tasty. And my veggie burrito was yummy!! I will definitely be eating here again.

Super casual and reasonably priced spot for Mexican food that is a bit outside the main restaurant areas in Charleston. Menu is hit or miss so I recommend the Mexican tacos which are a bit closer to traditional tacos than the American version. Can get pretty lively at times and there is an outdoor area good for a beer or food outside.

Food was great. I had enchiladas. The chips were a little stale but the salsa is fantastic. Place looks odd on the outside but inside it's a really really nice vibe. It's also fairly cheap.
