One of my favorite places to go for lunch. Their buffet is so delicious and you get to try new dishes at a lower cost this way. The owners and staff are so welcoming. Today I was offered a delicious mojito beverage which I ordered non—alcoholic. They just remodeled and opened a bar so they are opened later at night. Stop in for a lovely meal, hospitality, and a drink.

The staff was friendly and knowledgeable, guiding me through all the buffet items. There were excellent options for vegetarians, and the quality of the food was outstanding. The prices were reasonable, and there was plenty of parking available.

They have improved since my last visit few months ago. The old lady that works there is very good and helpful. Buffet was delicious. You have to ask for Nan if you want any and they bring them fresh to table. They don't have them in the tray. I guess because they don't want them to dry .

RIVAYAT CREATIVE INDIAN REVIEWS

Wonderfully surprised and delighted with this restaurant! Every dish had an amazing depth of flavor and the perfect amount of heat. The ambiance was really special, and it’s not too loud. The service was great as well! We got the Pani Puri, Gunpowder Dosa, oysters and the fish curry. If you like Indian food, I highly recommend going. We are so glad we found a spot that we will be going returning to on the regular.

A very creative take on Indian food that will satisfy those who love Indian classics and those who want something a little different. The staff made you feel welcome and took pride in their food and service. The fish was amazing. Vermints!

Rivayat was a wonderful experience!!! We had amazing service by Sujith, and enjoyed a variety of dishes including Kashmiri naan, vegetable samosas, oysters, paneer angara, and vegetable manga curry. The flavors were vibrant and the ambiance was warm and inviting. We will be back soon for drinks and dessert.

I've been several times now and the food has been on point and authentic every time. Everything is cooked fresh to order and service is friendly and knowledgeable. Highly recommend, let's keep this one open, West Ashley.

This was outstanding. The price, quantity, and quality of the meal was so refreshing. My socks blew off. 10 stars if I could.

Picked up togo 3 times and had Lamb Thali for lunch in house. Everything has been absolutely delicious. Must try.
