The service was top tier from the moment you walk inside. We ordered the signature cocktails, 434 and I dream of Jeanie, and both were great options. The lobster Mac n cheese was the best side. The collard greens had a different flavor than I’m used it, a little sweeter, but it was good. My husband loved the duck entree and the flavor of the entire dish. The Grouper was also good (slightly overcooked). The flavor of the steak was great. Slightly overcooked on the preferred cook on certain portions. Overall, a wonderful experience.

Halls Chophouse came highly recommended. And rightfully so! Everything here is excellent! From the entrance to closure it was a pure delight. My husband, who calls himself the "President of the United Tastes", was treated in a very presidential way for his birthday. Our first visit to the Charleston area and we can't wait to come back to Halls. I can actually say it was our best dining experience ever.

Came here for my birthday and it was hands down the best restaurant experience I have ever had! Their attention to detail was insane! Our waitress, Chelsea was absolutely wonderful and so knowledgeable. Love the atmosphere as well! Don’t even get me started on the tomahawk steak and stuffed mushrooms. All of the staff was so nice and accommodating. I want all of my birthday dinners to be at this amazing establishment.

This place was so nice and very quiet and relaxing. I sat upstairs but the view of the strand other buildings was nice. The food was so good and the service was amazing. The interior was decorated so nice and very clean. They made me feel very special, and they took the time to explain the menu, and I never had to ask for anything. The waiter came around very often. I would definitely go back.

Attended the 20th Anniversary Dinner with Chef Bacon. Chef Bacon never disappoints! The food was incredible, many off the menu items available. Wine pairings were perfect. The Oak is always a great experience, and the service can't be beat.

ive had a better steak. Service is phenomenal and the restaurant itself is beautiful. got the raspberry sorbet for dessert and its the best i've ever had.

My husband and I had our wedding reception dinner here and honestly, our expectations were exceeded. Burwell’s General manager went above and beyond to make everything absolutely perfect, even down to cutting and serving our cake himself! Theresa and David were exceptional servers and never missed a beat. So courteous and attentive. The food was delicious as well! We had such an amazing, beautiful evening and we owe a huge thank you to this restaurant and its staff!!!

Best restaurant in all of Charleston. Staff and servers are the most polite and helpful that I have ever met. Food was gourmet quality at an affordable price. The owner greets and ensures everything is to top standard. Will be back for sure!!!

Delicious steak, wonderful staff, and amazing cocktails! Can't wait to go back.
