3 Best Moving Companies in Chesapeake, VA

We just completed a military move from Chesapeake VA to TX. After we discovered this company was assigned to move us, I started looking over Google reviews. My stomach was in *knots* the entire move because of *terrible* reviews specifically from Chesapeake to TX. Let me be the one to provide relief…… our move was great! The *only* thing damaged was minor things (plastic trashcan, 2 bowls, and an older headboard cracked) and those things could happen if you were moving yourself. They moved our very expensive flatscreen without any damage. Forewarned they will not move medicine, candles & or any liquid already opened (perfume, soap, cleaning supplies). They sent 2 ladies to box the items up and then guys to pack the larger items the next day. Our items were in TX ready to be delivered approx 7 days after leaving Chesapeake. They were kind enough to deliver Saturday morning. The image/review of the 18 wheeler with items packed sky high made me sooo nervous, but there were no issues. The driver was nice and the delivery guys/ladies did everything we asked without attitude or hesitancy. We did inventory as it came off the truck and everything was delievered. I was very pleased by this move and hope my review can provide those nervous about using this company, some relief.

Erick and Osvaldo worked so diligently for my move. They were pleasant to speak to. I live on the third floor and they made the trips up the stairs quickly and carefully with smiles on their faces.

I'm very pleased with this company and it's service. From my first call to the final drop off, everyone was polite, professional, and efficient. Off Load Moving were recommended to me from our realtor and they didn't disappoint. Their prices were better than reasonable and I will certainly use this company again. Highly Recommended!.

The 3 young men that loaded the trailer for us were polite and respectful. They were very efficient and careful of our home, doorways, etc. I would highly recommend them. Also, we had a video call with Chris to walk through all the items that were going to haul to make sure we had booked the appropriate size truck.

If you need reliable movers, go with Off Load Moving. They communicated well throughout the day so I wasn't left wondering when they’d arrive. Very professional behavior and they finished the job ahead of schedule.
