"Dr. Joel Oster earns his medical degree from Boston University School of Medicine and completes his residency at Tufts/New England Medical Center’s Combined Neurology Program. He also completes an internship in internal medicine at Caritas St. Elizabeth’s Medical Center and a fellowship at Massachusetts General Hospital. He is board-certified in Psychiatry, Neurology, Clinical Neurophysiology, and Sleep Medicine. Dr. Oster is known for specializing in epilepsy and the treatment of intractable epilepsy. He also has a special interest in identifying lesions that may cause epilepsy and in conducting clinical drug trials for seizure disorders. Dr. Oster is a proud member of the American Medical Association, the Massachusetts Medical Society, the American Academy of Neurology, the American Epilepsy Society, the American Clinical Neurophysiology Society, the American Academy of Sleep Medicine, and the Boston Society of Neurology and Psychiatry.
