"MaxAbility Therapy Services provides pediatric therapy services for children from birth to 18 years of age. Their team of trained therapists supports each child in developing skills across multiple areas. Occupational Therapists focus on body mechanics, positioning, safety, and promoting independent access to a child’s environment. Staff collaborates with local vendors to help families obtain appropriate equipment, including wheelchairs, seating devices, cushions, trays, and bath chairs. Therapists work with families and other professionals to support skill development in the clinic, at home, at school, and in the community.
2026 Update: MaxAbility Therapy Services was founded by Rebecca Snyder, MA, CCC-SLP, who serves as Vice President and is a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist with a Certificate of Clinical Competence, holding dual licenses in Iowa and Nebraska. Melody Charleson, OTR/L, serves as President and is a licensed Occupational Therapist with dual licenses in Iowa and Nebraska. They often use play as a therapy tool, both in individual sessions and group settings."
