Rose Garden Early Childhood offers half-day and full-day programs for children from eighteen months to five years old in a beautiful, home-like environment. 'Amherst Nursery School' is a non-profit, non-denominational, private cooperative nursery school with classes for two, three, and four-year-old children. The preschool classes are taught by experienced preschool teachers assisted by teacher aides under the supervision of the on-staff education director. Their philosophy of young children learns best through play in a happy atmosphere that has been carefully structured to encourage all aspects of child development, including growth in language, cognition, social/emotional, fine motor, gross motor, and self-help skills. 'Amherst Nursery School' consists of five classrooms (2 for four-year-olds, 2 for three-year-olds and 1 for two-year-olds), a large gross motor playroom, a music room, an outdoor playground, and an office.
