"The Learning Experience-Simi Valley aims to help children achieve success independently while developing intellectually, socially, and cognitively through varied early educational materials, activities, and social interactions. Marlene Ybarra is the center director. The Learning Experience engages children in hands-on learning activities that encourage them to explore and solve problems at their own rate of development. The teacher facilitated exploration in learning areas such as dramatic play, art and sensory, math and manipulatives, and so on. This program is based on academic research that states children experience the deepest, most genuine learning when they are having fun. They provide an environment where children can be independent and exercise various personal, social, and emotional skills with children at similar stages of growth. Here, summer camp and before and after-school programs are also available.
2026 Highlights: Their preschool curriculum strengthens key milestones in language, counting, and motor skills, while preparing your child for the expectations of kindergarten.
