Saigon Sandwich

Been here a couple times and it’s the best banh mi in San Francisco. You may have to risk life and limb in the Tenderloin to obtain this $5 sandwich, but it’s worth it. The ingredients are simple yet work well together, the bread is soft on the inside, and the light coating of mayonnaise doesn’t make it soggy. The tofu is squishy and wonderfully juicy. Slap some sriracha on it and you’re golden. Take-out only because it’s a small shop.

I've been coming here for years. Whenever I'm in SF I make it a point to stop by and get a pork banh mi sandwich. Occasionally there is a line but they're move fast. 100% recommend this place to everyone.

The most delicious Vietnamese sandwich I ever had. I tried a combo and pork sandwiches, and the pork one is my favorite. This place is located in a nice area but it is nice to have a try.
