Wallach Septic Service

We have lived in our house for at least 27 years and I can't remember ever having the septic pumped out. I called and talked about pumping the tank and drain field down. When Glenn arrived to do the job he noted an issue with a possible clog in our drain field. Arranged to come back and do service the following week. When he arrived the next week he was really flustered at how thick the waste was in our tank. It took him a while to get the tank partially pumped and drain field pumped out. He dug, by hand, and found the issue with the drain field. It took about 3 of 4 hours to complete the first part of the job. He came back the next day and pumped the tank again to completely clean it out and repair the issue in the drain field. I am very happy with the effort that this man puts into performing the services promised at he price promised. I do not think that any other service company would have taken as much time and effort as he did to get our system cleaned and operational. He did give me info on how to PROPERLY maintain the system and get it pumped on a regular basis. We will be using Wallach Septic Service again in the future to maintain our system.

Had an issue with slow draining of tub and gurgling pipes when flushing. Since it had been 15 years since the last septic clean-out, assumed that was the issue. Called and set an appointment for 6:30 pm. Wallach called and asked if we'd be available at 3:00, just so he could get an idea of our system. Walked our system asking knowledgeable questions without trying to upsell an unneeded service. After his 5:30 appointment with another customer, he returned promptly. Not only did he provide the much needed cleaning, he discovered the actual drain issue: a clog in the main line from the house. After clearing that, he also walked me through some needed repairs I could handle myself, as well as cleaning the outflow line to the drain field. All without adding a dime to his initial quote for what I assumed was a simple clean out.

I’ve used Wallach since we’ve been at this house almost 10 years. We have had it emptied may 4 times now. Glen is always there or even earlier than he said. Knows his job and does it right for a fair price.
