A Five-Star Experience at Union Station Hotel – Even on a Work Trip! I recently stayed at the Union Station Hotel for a work-related trip, and I can confidently say it was a simple five-star experience from start to finish. While business brought me here, the hotel made it feel like a mini getaway. From the moment I walked in, I was struck by the historic charm blended seamlessly with modern luxury. The architecture alone is worth the visit—vaulted ceilings, grand chandeliers, and thoughtful design touches that make every corner feel special. What truly stood out was how relaxing and welcoming the atmosphere was, even though I was here for work. My room was spacious, spotless, and incredibly comfortable, but what I appreciated most were the many opportunities to unwind outside of the room. Whether it was enjoying a quiet moment in the beautifully restored lobby, grabbing a drink at the stylish bar, or simply walking the scenic grounds, there were plenty of ways to decompress after a long day. The staff were consistently friendly, professional, and attentive without being overbearing. Every interaction—from check-in to housekeeping—was smooth and pleasant. If you're traveling for business but want to feel like you're on vacation, Union Station Hotel is the perfect blend of productivity and peace. I left feeling refreshed, not drained, which is rare for a work trip. Highly recommend this gem—whether you're here for meetings or memories, you’ll find both.

Our stay here was wonderful! The rooms were specious and comfortable with a lovely view of the courtyard. The lobby was beautifully decorated. The service we received was beyond anything we've experienced in the past. The valet was very helpful answering questions on parking and the surrounding area. The check-in staff were friendly and welcoming. The clerk went above and beyond expectations. He saw that I was checking in a with young child and he helped by pushing the luggage cart to my room and helped unloaded it. Breakfast at the Station Grille was delicious. Omletes cooked to order and they even offered smoked salmon on the breakfast buffet. All the staff in the restaurant were friendly, warm, and welcoming. Flori, our server, chatted with us like an old friend as we ate breakfast. We weren't rushed as we had breakfast and really enjoyed the company of Flori and other staff members.

This hotel is absolutely beautiful !! the room was perfect, the bed was extremely comfortable and the pillows were large comfortable. There was a refrigerator in the room, along with two bottles of water and a coffee maker. We got the breakfast buffet in the morning and it was delicious with a made to order omelet bar and plenty of choices of other breakfast items. Our server * GLORIA* Was ABSOLUTELY WONDERFUL. She talked with my mother and I about the architecture of the building, and even talked about her favorite thrift shops! We will definitely stay here next time we come to STL.

I've stayed in some very nice hotels and while this Hilton isn't perfect it's one of the better Hiltons I've stayed at. The service was top notch. The facilities were good. The restaurant selections on site were very good and the overall value I felt was also very good. The hotel was extremely clean, the staff was very pleasant, and we had a very nice stay overnight. The room was well appointed with a comfortable bed and very nice clean bedding. The bathroom was also top notch clean (although a bit dated/in need of a bit of caulk around the tub). The view was fantastic from the 17th story.

Great place to stay if you're visiting (and you're a baseball fan). Middle of town next to a stadium with bars and restaurants around. You can even get a great view of the arch from your room if you're on the correct side, and the arch itself is a short walk away. Only complaint is the bathroom. There is no vent to turn on for a steamy shower so you'll soak up the walls, door, and light fixture. You can of course leave the door open, however activated venting should be available. Also, the shower water will soak the floor regardless of how you set your shower curtain and liner.

Customer service was outstanding. After reading prior negative reviews I thought the room was nice and was clean. Talk about a lively location. The fitness center was better than your average hotel fitness center. Ballpark next door, amazing view. 360 on the roof. If I’m ever in STL again, I’ll be sure to stay here.
