Fat Salmon Sushi serves fusion sushi, traditional rolls, and sake in a loungelike space with dim lighting and ample seating. The dining space is a long, lean room with a white lacquer bar, hanging lights, a wall depicting ocean waves, and another covered by a colorful mural. The ambiance is pretty cool, with some mysterious wallpaper choices. Fat Salmon Philadelphia is one of the best sushi spots in Old City, and it’s an excellent place for a group dinner to start your night. They have a lot of house specials. They serve big platters of impressive rolls that include things like plum paste and pico de gallo, perfect for sharing. Their kitchen stays open until 11 pm on weekends, so it’s doable. Lunch Special dishes include California roll, spicy tuna roll, tuna and salmon nigiri, tekka maki and unakyu.

FAT SALMON REVIEWS
We had a great experience here start to finish. Booked a reservation in the morning on the day before Christmas Eve and when we arrived 20 minutes early they seated us right away. The waitress was timely and courteous, always kept our drinks topped up. The sushi itself was way better than I was expecting after reading some of the prior reviews. Dare I say that their sushi was pretty darn good! They do make some pretty unique rolls though after trying some I think I will stick with the originals. One of them tasted like an italian take on sushi and I feel like those flavors should be left separate. We paid the bill which was also lower than I expected based on all the wine and sake we had. All in all, a beautiful visit. Would come again.
This was my first time back at this place in well over a year. It's so nice seeing that some places weathered the pandemic and remained the same. Everything about this meal was as delicious as I expected from earlier visits. We got the avocado salad, which comes with a generous amount of avocado and the ginger dressing is light and tasty! We got a few of the special sushi rolls and they were fresh with great flavor combinations. The basic spicy tuna roll was a little on the salty side, but that was probably a one time random thing; we've always gotten this one in the past and we've never had any issues with the saltiness. The absolute favorite is the Mochi Ice Cream. It's so good! I strongly recommend making sure to leave room for it! We also had a bottle of their wine. They have many wine bottle options at a fairly inexpensive price point. They were generous with letting us taste a few before we decided on one.
Incredible sushi. They have a great assortment of speciality roles, but still have all the classics. The fish is very fresh and comes out cold. The vampire role is my favorite. The large hot sake is a good deal for $14. Atmosphere is good, not too loud. The inside is very modern and the sushi bar is right in the middle for everyone to see. Definitely make reservations (through Yelp) for weekends. I highly recommend this place for all your sushi needs.

BLEU SUSHI REVIEWS
This place never disappoints. The staff is so friendly and the food is fantastic. We Just took my niece here for her 17th birthday(she loves sushi), and we tried fried veggie tempura and crab croquette and many sushi roles. The staff was so nice to bring out complimentary ice cream with fireworks and song fir my niece, to our surprise. I recommend this place to all the sushi lovers out there.
Waiters/servers went and above and beyond, were so patient and friendly. Got fried ice cream, kimchi fries, takoyaki and matcha ice cream. My friends ordered sushi, the fried crab cakes and wings. Everything was excellent, and we got complimentary mochi. Highly recommend!!!!.
Our first time here and it was excellent! The appetizers were so creative, the sushi was amazing and fresh and the waiters and manager was very attentive. The sushi was a lot of fish and only a thin outer layer of rice which was awesome that they weren’t being cheap by going heavy on the rice like so many other places. They even gave us a complimentary sake shots! We will definitely be back.

Wow! We're so glad we stopped by here. We had no idea the kind of treat that was in store! The vibe was indescribable. There is so much to look at and discover in this place! The food was stellar! The drinks were delicious. Such a great and unique experience not to miss.
Great atmosphere ! The sushi was great, had a tiny dancer roll (Definitely one to Order ), philly roll , spicy tuna the yellowtail sashimi was the best we ever had! Not being from the area, we were really lost on where to go for good sushi, glad we found this place! It was in walking distance from our hotel.
Cool somewhat hidden outdoor patio with great vibes. I didn’t expect much from walking by in the past, but had a great experience and the food was very good! Great service and cocktails too. My fiance does not like sushi but had many other options. She was satisfied. I will come back, but with her younger sister who does like sushi.
