As a parent you only want the best for your kids and you want them to do there best in all aspects of life. I was searching different programs for my 2nd grader and came across the The tutoring center. I made an appointment with them I was so excited at how very informative they were and could really see that there number one priority were there students. There one on one really sold me. I’m very excited for my child and the great things this program has to offer.

I am eager for my 6 year-old son to begin. The process was informative, and as a teacher myself, I can see that the students are their priority. After researching different programs, I knew instantly that The Tutoring Center was the right place for my first grade son. Their one-to-one instruction & "rotational approach to learning" is just what my son needs.

I am so thankful to have find The Tutoring Center for my son. His Math and Reading skills has improved drastically after a couple of sessions. He’s now prepared for the upcoming school year.

We have been part of the Long Beach Stearns Kumon Family for about 4 years now and have been very happy with the growth and development of our children, who are currently 7 years old and 9 years old. My oldest son who is currently in 3rd grade began his Kumon journey when he was in Kindergarten. We initially started him with Reading only in order to develop his Reading and Vocabulary, but, after a year, we transitioned him into both Math and Reading. During his time in Kumon, I can honestly say Kumon has helped him develop a strong vocabulary base and has allowed him to become a proficient reader and writer. One aspect of Kumon that I believe is most beneficial for the student is the development of the daily routine and discipline of completing the work packets. These type of study habits to finish these Kumon packets on time gradually becomes ingrained into their daily routine which helps to develop discipline and a strong work ethic, which eventually can carry on to other aspects of academic life. Ms. Jila and her staff truly care about the academic success and learning of each child. Without reservation, I would recommend Kumon Long Beach Stearns for your child.

My kids have been coming to this Kumon center for the past 4 years. Of course the program is great. And everyone at the center is very kind and supportive. This program has helped my kids to excel at school. Other friends who have been with Kumon longer have told me that you really see the benefit down the years. Also the constant weekly homework keeps their mind agile as opposed to watching TV or being on iPad. I recommend Kumon specially this Kumon with great management and kind staff.

I'm so happy that my daughter started this program even though she's in 6th grade. It is providing her the necessary foundation in Math and English that wasn't provided because of the pandemic. The staff are nurturing and provide a lot of great support to the students and parents. Highly recommend Kumon.
