I shop here for my daughter all the time. The staff is ultra friendly, they have a great selection of books, and the clothes are well made and more stylish (in my opinion) than the run of the mill brands. There’s also a nice selection of locally made (LBC and/ or CA) goods. Support your neighborhood baby boutique and shop at Lil Devils!

Best shop in LA County for children's clothes, toys, books, etc. Every item is unique, hip, and usually local made. The staff is super friendly and they've really made the shop inviting. Good music playing & good vibes makes for an enjoyable shopping experience.

My go-to shop for any baby/kid gifts! The clothes and toys are cute, unique and affordable. I love being able to support woman owned small businesses.

My kids and I visited Songbird yesterday. Wow! Beautiful displays! Fun, cute, hilarious, nostalgic and so many things I want! Made a list - definitely need to come in again and again and again. Love that they support artists and smaller vendors. I completely forgot my phone otherwise I would have a bunch of photos! There’s always next time! Keep small businesses going!

I’ve always loved this store, but Danielle and Jordan went above and beyond helping me today to find the perfect gift. Literally spent 30 minutes with me being absolutely wonderful and patient. Highly recommend shopping here. Especially if you’re looking for something full of love.

This is the greatest gift shop. Everyone who works here is so nice. They always have new super cool stuff. Jennifer has helped me so much. I love this store and everyone who works here.

I love shades of Africa, from the atmosphere to Ms. Renee being so welcoming. The products are amazing. Most stores if not all when you go in to purchase items such as hair products or skin products they can only be used for those specific things. With the many handmade products at Shades of Africa there may be a description such as hair oil or body wash but they can be used all over and I love that. You get quality products! I pick up products in stores and wonder why all of those harmful ingredients are needed to make things as simple as lotion or body wash, it’s not necessary. I can shop here and not have to worry about about any cancer causing chemicals or harsh dyes. You’re also helping out many small black owned businesses even some from other countries such as Kenya. I get majority of my skin, body, and hair care products and will continue to do so. I love being able to support small black owned businesses and I’m grateful to have found a store that sells amazing natural products.

5 Stars to counteract all these dimly lit brains confusing this for another business. Guys, it's as easy as looking at a photo of the business, which is ironically available for you right here on Google. Yet, you somehow cant figure out basic problem solving. I feel bad for the owner of this business who had to deal with this kind of intelligence!

This. Place. Is. AHMAZING!! Black Girl Magic in a store!! Incense, books, bags, bangles, oils for the body and to burn. You will lose your mind! Have fun.
