3 Best Hotels in Long Beach, CA

What a stunning site! Not only is the hotel in a calm location away from city bustle, but it also has a beautiful view. From the moment you enter the hotel grounds, you forget you're in Long Beach. It's almost like getting away for a little vacation! The setting, staff, and the food/restaurant were all excellent. I would recommend this to friends and family for a one-night stay, a weekend escape, or to host your next event (leisure or business) or party. Thank you, Hotel Maya.

This place is stunning. Such a great place for a little getaway. The rooms are so spacious and roomy. The staff was absolutely amazing, they took care of all of my needs. And make sure to check out their restaurant, Fuego. The food there is ridiculously good, the service was on point, and the ambience is unmatched. Can’t wait to go back, and bring all my friends.

We stayed at Hotel Maya over the weekend and had a fabulous time! The beautiful water views and great dining in Fuego was just what we needed. A place that offers many accommodations from spending time with your family, to attending fun filled events. Thank you, Hotel Maya, for taking care of my family during our stay. Arrived here as our last minute 1 more day stay in downtown Long Beach for an event. First time staying here and it was great!!! We felt welcome once we came in with the 2 front desks (Fritzie and Ash? forgot her name). Best service from all hotels I've stayed at. We walked in to find available room and received the best service ever! From the front to room service, including at the bar. Fritzie and Ash/Kash is the sweetest front desk Ive ever met from all hotels I've been to. Great service at the front desk and made sure we got the room we needed. The rooms are clean but its kinda outdated, some walls needed repaint and patch holes, the AC was not working well (the cool temperature was not great, but since we only stayed 1 night it was fine). There are no charging stations for the electric cars (other available charging station locations are 15-20 mins away from the hotel, but the convention center has some too if you need to go there for an event). The hotel is very close to Convention Center just a walking distance just across the street and have a lot of foods/restaurants close by. The food at the hotel is good too!! And they give you $29 comp credit per stay. It was a great stay at this hotel and I would come back again. Definitely recommends it to anyone who needs to stay in Long Beach downtown. I hope to come back again end of this year or at the beginning of next year.

The hotel offers impressive services from the valet parking, the front desk, cleaning, fitness, conference venues, etc. The front desk staff were very friendly. They welcomed all guests and answered the question very friendly. All staff were attentive to all customers. The location is great and convenient for the conference at the Long Beach Convention Center. The fitness room is on the fifth floor. There are 5 treadmills machines. There is a water fountain in the fitness and they have some fruits for snacks.

Great location right downtown and the customer service really stands out here. Front desk staff was super helpful and friendly throughout our stay. Food service attendants were on point as well - attentive without being overbearing. Hotel feels modern and well-maintained. Definitely recommend if you’re staying in Long Beach.
