Nancy’s Custom Upholstery is an awesome establishment. They provide a professional service with a warm personal touch, and are eager to satisfy the customer according to that which is asked of them. I carried my living room sofa cushions to them for refurbishment and they were promptly completed. The price for the refurbishment was amazingly reasonable! Go to Nancy’s. If i could give this business a 0 i would have, ....here is the story....i have been trying for over 10 months to get nancy to upholster 7 chairs, i have sent texts, made phone calls, then the texts go unanswered for weeks and weeks. she may be good at what she does but horrible answering phone calls, returning calls, answering texts and returning texts, this lady is a questionable business person or has memory problems one or the other, because this is a big order and i just cannot get responses from her for over 10 months!!....very very frustrating. maybe she has so much business she does not care, but the person answering the phone named katy is great, nice, friendly, maybe she is running interference for nancy....katy always says nancy will get back with me asap.......crickets now for months. when i do get a text response it is always 'i am waiting for material to come in, when i have not even picked out a material yet !!.....whattttt ??........tired of waiting for months and months !!.....really...........sad way to run a business....very sad. hope nancy reads this and fixes her procrastinating habits....my wife and i going elswhere and i would suggest if you read this you do the same. - Mo Reply

I reached out to Beach Upholstery to assist with a repair on a velvet sofa cushion. They were immediate in response and assisted me in having this taken care of quickly. Other businesses quoted me 3 weeks for turnaround. In one day this team of professionals completely replaced the top of my sofa cushion. The craftsman didn’t love how it turned out when he called me and gave me the option to do it again for no additional charge or take as is for a portion of the piece. I opted to have it redone, with great appreciation for his pride in his work. The final product was absolute perfection. The customer service was top notch, the craftsmanship was wonderful. I can not recommend this business enough to anyone in the Hampton Roads area and I will absolutely return for any future requests. Thank you so much Beach Upholstery!

Beach Upholstery did my cushions on my hurricane sundeck 24 foot last year. Beautiful Job; Custom. This year had them do a snap on cover for the same boat open bow and the back, beautiful job. Linda was awesome to work with fit us right in, was the best price. Highly recommended.

Linda did a great job replacing two small jump seat cushions on my Pursuit sport fish. They look much better than the old ones which had deteriorated from age. As a means to insure proper placement of the new cushion snaps, I did have to take the new cushion back to boat and use a lead pencil on the new snaps on the seats to allow for an imprint on the fabric for the new location. Tedious but worthwhile. The old ones had shrunk considerably. Linda had previously made a new cockpit bolster which has held up well. Price reasonable. - William C Reply
