We moved my aunt into Bay Lake one year ago and it was the best decision we've made. It is a beautiful clean environment with a caring staff that went out of their way to make my aunt feel welcome and at home. . The food and dining room crew are excellent. Everyone is very friendly and the environment is upbeat and positive. She has adjusted very well and we feel good knowing she is well taken care of 24 /7. We love visiting her here because we feel like family and are always welcomed with hugs and smiles.

What a lovely, warm establishment! We were considering placing a loved one here, so Rachael gave us a tour around. Rachel was so naturally sweet while also incredibly knowledgeable on the facility, area, and all of the residents - we really felt like our gam gam would be in great hands with her around. Give that girl a raise! The rest of the staff was overall very friendly and the residents seemed very happy.

WOW! Cannot say enough about this assisted living community. I was extremely hesitant putting my mother in any assisted living facility, but Bay Lake made the decision so easy to make after our first tour. It is absolutely beautiful, well-kept, and my mom is SO happy here. My heart is happy knowing that she is in good hands. I cannot recommend Bay Lake more.

We had a wonderful time visiting our Nam (Mom, Grandmother, and Great-grandmother) today on her birthday. We especially enjoyed the extra love and concern of Danielle Curtis, who talked extensively with us about mom and knew so much about her likes/dislikes, and needs. Thank you for your loving care for our Nam. It is appreciated more than we can say.

My dad has lived here for a little over 3 months and he feels safe, happy, well cared for and enjoys all the friendships he has made and enjoys going to the dining room to sit with his friends for meals. I love that he can still have the independence he needs with the assistance a call away. Maintenance handles any problems immediately and the apartments are clean, spacious and have all the amenities he needs. The building smells fresh and clean with zero nursing home odors. That was very important to my dad.

The facility is beautiful, staff is friendly and residents seem very happy! We enjoyed singing with the residents but, most of all, we enjoyed their enthusiasm and singing with us.

ATLANTIC SHORES REVIEWS

Stellar senior care in every aspect! Kindness abounds from senior management to medical personnel, dining staff, housekeeping, and support services. Communications are excellent and timely , whether it be a medication or change in the resident’s status. The food is yummy with a varied menu and dining personnel who are attentive to the resident’s preferences. As an RN of forty years, I’m impressed with the cleanliness and staff understanding of the geriatric person. My father was moved there “kicking and screaming” and now says he should have come five years ago. Great activities, with adaptations to each resident’s needs and abilities. There cannot be a better senior living facility within 500 miles! Highly recommended.

My partner and I moved into a beautiful apartment at Atlantic Shores. Our sales counselor, Michelle, was supportive from the moment we met her to tour the 100 acre community. Her support continued until we purchased our apartment. We find there's a strong sense of community. The staff is friendly and committed to providing a high standard of customer service. There's plenty to do to fill the hours in the day. We are looking forward to a high quality of life here. It's certainly worth the time to contact the sales department to schedule a tour of the community.

My husband and I moved to Atlantic Shores five years ago, we have never regretted that decision. We loved our neighborhood and friends in Kempsville, but Atlantic Shores quickly became "home" and we have made many new friends. We have been able to take advantage of social and travel opportunities organized by Atlantic Shores Resident Services and no other retirement community could have more helpful, friendly employees than those here.
