One of my favorite places to go for vegan food in DC! The food (fast-food style but not low-quality) is amazing, and this location is always so clean. Of course I wish they had a few more seating options, so I could bring more people here! The staff is also super nice and helpful, always ready to answer my questions. I recently had an issue with my rewards app and Wayni, the cashier, was super attentive and did everything she could to help me figure out the issue. I feel like most people would not have done that. Just another reason to love HipCityVeg and the staff at the Chinatown location.

Had a quick bite before a Washington Capitals game. Location was great and right across the street from the arena. Grabbed a burger and fries. Food was delicious but the burger was on the smaller side. That necessitated a secondary order of the cauliflower bites, which were deliciously crispy. The fries had the right flavor, crispiness on the outside while soft on the inside. Overall a really solid vegan/vegetarian option in a good and convenient location.

This place was nice and a good variety, I wanted some good vegan food but when I got there it was soy, so I just ordered fries and a drink but over nice atmosphere and prices were great.

Amazing vegan food, good portions, great service and lovely location. Loved sitting on the balcony and eating while people watching! Do give the place a try... loved the Bacon and Ginger beer the most.. food was nutritious, filling and fresh. Great job DC Vegan.. keep up the good work.

Amazing! This place was perfection. We enjoyed our meal so much. We visited on a fixed menu day but cannot wait to go back to try other of their regular offerings and deli. All the ingredients were very high quality, and each part of the plate was perfectly crafted and thought out. The staff was also very attentive and detailed. Thanks.

In the past, I disputed the idea of going vegan. But after trying DC Vegan with a friend last week, I am definitely exploring the idea of going vegan when I can personally make such delicious vegan meals. Thank you for your great and sumptuous Eggplant sandwich. I'm definitely returning for more.

VEGZ REVIEWS

OMG I loved this place. Have eaten at a lot of desi restaurants around DC but Vegz has been the best easily. Primarily coz the taste was authentic Indian. Also, portion size was well as per the price. We had mango Lassi, Chola puri and paneer Dosa (served with sambhar, coconut chutney). All items tasted sooo good and reminded me of home. The music playing there and the whole vibe was also desi. A must visit place.

I was transported out of DC into South India. My friend and I went just as they opened. The decor was unique cross between an airstream and a ship deck. Chef came out to say hello and check on our table's experience. The dosa was delightful, buttery, crispy, and the filling was so flavorful and hearty. LOVE LOVE LOVE to come back to DC if only just to dine here again. THANK YOU VEGZ crew.

This one is one of the best Indian restaurants I tried in the States. Servers are wonderful too. Our family had a great experience.
