They have been voted the best food truck in DC in 2024. The chef makes Venezuelan items like traditional cheeses, sweets, soft drinks, special flours, and sauces. Over the years, Arepa Zone has expanded to new locations and projects, always staying true to their mission of bringing the best of Venezuelan food right to your doorstep. Arepa Zone also offers catering for private events and can adjust the menu to fit your needs. The Pernil Arepa is an arepa filled with roasted pork, sliced tomato, and fresh cheese. You can try their chicken bowl, which is made with basmati rice, shredded chicken, black beans, and sweet plantains. They also serve vegan dishes.
2026 Update: Arepa Zone also serves happy hour food and provides vegetarian options. Many of their dishes are gluten-free, including arepas. They also have locations in the Western Market, Fairfax, Mosaico By Arepa Zone, Nats Park, Audi Field, and College Park."
