DAIKAYA REVIEWS
I thoroughly enjoyed the fantastic atmosphere of this restaurant. The communal tables allow everyone to engage in their own activities while still enjoying the company they came with. The miso ramen, especially on a serene Sunday amidst the snowfall, was a delightful experience. I highly recommend giving this spot a try!
Service was amazing. My brother has a million allergies and we forgot to communicate some and our server (forgot her name, she's an Asian woman with pink streaks in her hair) was amazing about accommodating it. She was quite honest about the spice level of the super spicy ramen and he still baited himself into it and our server helped us with alternatives (extra bowl of soup). As for the food, I particularly loved the egg and pork belly. Cooked to perfection.
Came in for lunch around noon, surprisingly not busy! Service is relatively quick for how busy it gets. Ramen is cooked well with a rich smoky broth and noodles cooked to be firm. Only downside is they do not give a lot of meat with the order, I'd recommend paying a little extra to garnish with an egg.

CHAPLIN'S REVIEWS
Solid ramen spot with happy hour drinks and amazing food. Tried this spot out for Friday happy hour and was not disappointed. Had thr Spicy Teryaki bao buns and two different bowls of ramen. Everything was delicious. Can't beat $6 hour cocktails and $3 beers for happy hour. Ambiance at the bar was cool, although we would definitely come back to check out a regular table spot.
Chaplin's is one of my go-to spot for a Ramen fix in DC! From the first time I stepped in, I knew I was in for a treat. The Tori Karaage is a must-try – that sweet and spicy sauce is a game-changer. And let's not forget the Chaplin Ramen; the pork belly chashu is melt-in-your-mouth goodness. Every bite feels like a warm hug. Oh, and the cocktails? A delightful surprise! A Woman of Paris is my favorite. Friendly staff, fantastic food, and killer cocktails.
We came here for girls brunch and it was so delicious. We also enjoyed the cocktails and trying new dishes together. The pan fried dumplings and Chaplin A.S.S. were my top two favorites but you can’t go wrong with anything.

SAKURAMEN RAMEN BAR REVIEWS
Didn’t particularly feel up to eating in, so I ordered the spicy miso togo. Was sent texts giving me updates on the order. At pickup, I was surprised to see a quaint downstairs restaurant that made the most of a smaller space. Clean, seating for waiting on takeout if needed. My order was ready to go packaged nicely and the soup separated to keep the noodles from getting soggy. Upon eating I was pleased with the order. Great taste and quality. The 6 spicy level wasn’t all that bad. A nice bite but I may go higher next time. All in all I really enjoyed it and will be back!!
We showed up with a party of 9. Initially we're told the didn't have seating and then told they would open the upstairs for us. Amazing food, great service. One of our party lived in Japan and said the ramen and appetizers were just like what he got there. If you want amazing food and service... this us the place to go.
This ramen is great. I got the Tonkotsu Red with an egg and a fireball. It was sooo good. My favorite ramen I’ve found in the district. The pork belly was well cooked and the flavor was incredible. The egg was also just runny enough which is how I love it. I will be going back. The service was great too. We waited almost no time for a table on a busy Friday night.
