I needed help finding a missing part to one of my blinds and visited their repair shop and had a rollicking good time. They were all at once friendly, professional and helpful and they knew the products inside and out. This is why friends don't let friends buy shades from big box stores. Customer service beyond.

You will not find a better place for window dressings (shades) in all of the Bay Area. You will never find a more helpful, professional and accommodating staff.

I've done a lot of business with Alcatraz Shade Shop over the years--bought and had installed blinds and shades, plus repairs. I've had nothing but good experiences with them. So have friends who've used them at my recommendation. A first-rate local business that I'm more than happy to support.

SLATS BLINDS REVIEWS

We got our blinds and window shades installed a few weeks ago and they are perfect, very nice and high quality. They were patient while we asked for quotes of several different options before we made our decision. They were very friendly and professional. Their installer was great too, arrived on time and made sure we were satisfied with the product installation before he left. Very happy with our decision to go with Slats Blinds.

Don was amazing to work with! He was friendly, thoroughly professional, honest, helpful and fast through the entire process from assessment to install. It was a bit of an emergency as our blinds had broken and we needed replacements fast and he delivered. We had 3 rooms that needed replacements, and he helped us figure out how to do this at a reasonable price. Highly recommended.

Very professional and helpful too. I needed some help with what to cover with and Don was fantastic. The installer was quick and efficient. Very neat and clean. When a small issue arose with the blinds, it was quickly fixed perfectly. Highly recommend.

JLS WINDOW COVERINGS REVIEWS

My project to replace drapes in my condo living/dining room proved to be a daunting task. After estimates and suggestions from several businesses, I narrowed it down to two; both good but Lisa with JLS proved to be exceptional. She, Deborah and another colleague were patient and had wonderful ideas and suggestions. Lisa must have been to my home four to five times as we narrowed down the choices. She even accepted delivery when I had to go out of town. My window treatments were installed by the JLS installer, Jorge and his crew, and I am thrilled with the results. Great company on all levels.

Deborah helped me with a sizable project of outfitting a new home with 5 rooms of roman shades, choosing grasscloth for accent walls and getting window seats upholstered. All work was done with beautiful fabrics that she helped me choose along the way with expertise as a designer and patience with my choices/budget. Her communication was excellent and she was a pleasure to work with. The finished project is a really warm beautiful space and I would recommend Deborah without hesitation.

Deborah is absolutely the best to work with! She turned the stressful experience of getting window coverings into something fun and easy. She just helped us install motorized blinds (they are so cool) in our loft in Jack London Square and we wouldn’t change a thing. Her installer was also excellent and we would highly recommend JLS. They are awesome.
