After having my car stolen and damaged, I was so fortunate to have the support of the Caliber team as they managed two claims to get the repairs taken care of. Lee was so thoughtful in how he made me feel comfortable when I first showed up and was frantic, and at the end when I paid. Alan then walked me through the assessment process. But, I cannot speak highly enough of DuMauriea who gave me regular updates about the status of my car, inconsistencies with insurance, and any shifts in costs. As we were dealing with multiple back-to-back storms, DuMauriea always checked on me to make sure I had reliable transportation. When I got my car back, DuMauriea also walked me through the (beautiful!!) repairs, and made sure I wasn't caught off guard. Should any other issues arise with my car, I know that I can trust the Caliber team in Downtown Oakland.

Excellent work on the repair and paint. Mazda has one of the more complex metallic paint that’s hard to match. My car was restored to original factory condition. It was done right on schedule. Daniel kept me updated regularly throughout the repair so that there are no surprises on the cost and completion date. The staffs were courteous and professional. They handled everything with the insurance company and car rental pick up and return. The process was easy and smooth.

This place is amazing. Alan and Daniel have worked as a team to ensure that my car is returned to me with the work done expertly, and yesterday when I picked up my car it looked even better than I expected! They work seamlessly with both the insurance and rental car companies. Alan and Daniel are professional, they communicate well throughout the process, and have made my auto-body repairs as pleasant as possible.

If I could give them 6 or even 10 stars I would! This was my second time needing to bring my car in, both times it had significant damage (not my fault). The staff (and owner!) are amazing!! Friendly, professional, talented, patient, efficient, and so so helpful. My car looks as good as the day I bought it 7 years ago. I would not hesitate to recommend Uptown to anyone and everyone. Well done! And the fact that it is woman-owned is a serious plus!

From the very first interaction with Uptown Body & Fender staff, I was welcomed & assured my vehicle could & would be completely repaired. The total experience has been professional & personalized. I would highly recommend this team for professional & quality body repair.
