The Uptown Apartments

I am a resident here at the Uptown and so far I have had a good experience. Getting a lease here was extremely painful process, but once we got in the doors and our lease it was really great. The space is beautiful and clean. The amenities are great! The pool is clean and well maintained, I love the fact that the Uptown has a 24 hour gym! Hopefully we will be getting some new equipment in soon. Maintenance requests are handled with care here, in the beginning, getting ahold of the staff was difficult but I have definitely seen them step up and attempt to deal with residents in a timely manner. The response time has for sure improved. The neighbors are super kind here as well. They have monthly/semi monthly resident events. The Trivia Night was a big hit last month! I hope they do another one soon. A great location, smack dab in the middle of the hustle and bustle, great nightlife, great restaurants and transportation to get to the nearby groceries like Target or Sprouts grocery.

I lived here for 1 year and had very good overall experience. The courtyard areas were nice and the buildings are great if you are looking for a pet friendly place. Parking is really essential in Oakland and they have multiple garages with elevators up to your unit floor. Briana in the leasing office was very helpful in making the moving process smooth and answering all our questions

A month in and it's been an excellent time. The facilities are kept well, neighbors and quiet and kind, and move in was relatively painless. Alonso, the lease consultant, was able to get me an awesome deal on a great two bed room and has been an absolute pleasure to work with. Thanks for having me Uptown and Thank you Alonso!
