The experience our family has had with Heritage Woods has been excellent and our parents are the second generation in our family to reside at Heritage Woods. The staff is always welcoming, professional, caring, knowledgeable, and consistent. When our parents first moved into Heritage Woods, they were immediately welcomed to the community by both residents and staff. Our father even joined several committees and loves the responsibility of helping others in the resident community and even tries to help the staff whenever they need it. He enjoys the responsibility and Heritage Woods has been a great place that meets all of his living and social needs. Also, we cannot overstate our appreciation of Mary and her staff as they helped us navigate through transitioning our mother to the assisted living floor at Heritage Woods. With her experience in the industry, she was able to provide us with valuable and accurate resources to ensure our family was able to fully advocate for our mother’s needs during that time. Mary and her staff always had their doors open to our many questions. We feel that this is what a Senior Living community is all about.

Heritage Woods is a wonderful place. We get 3 meals a day and you just go to the dining room and sit down just like a restaurant, and look at the menu and tell the waitress what you want. The food is very good with wonderful deserts and if you want more of something, you just ask. The people that live here are all very friendly and there are so many things the staff does for entertainment, they have bands that plays music, and we have bingo 2 times a week, so many other things they do for entertainment. They have someone to clean your room once a week, and so many other things that makes you feel like it is home.

My Mother was a resident at Forest Heights for the past five years. She passed away at 99 a few weeks ago. I always knew how loved she was by the staff; however, her passing really proved how much they loved her. They held a memorial for her and all the staff spoke of what a blessing she was to them. Many staff members commented on how she was like a grandmother to them. I noticed on my visits that the staff treated all the residents with that same love and compassion. The few concerns I ever had were addressed immediately. They hold regular resident meetings where the residents can voice their concern as well. I always liked that Mom had her own voice in matters. As for the facility itself, it is clean and a very pleasant atmosphere. The meals looked good and there were always choices which was a bonus for Mom, who was a very picky eater. Forest Heights is a very special place and I am so glad my Mom was able to spend her last years surrounded by such wonderful people that in many ways became extended family.

Both of my parents are at this facility. The staff has enveloped my parents and myself with care and compassion. The facility is clean and the residents are well cared for. If there is an issue, it has been taken care of quickly and efficiently. I live out of state and felt very comfortable leaving my parents at Forest Heights.

I've been there many times in the past and felt it was a cold reception by staff. Today was a complete 180 as Barney, Michelle, and Stephanie made me feel welcome and glad to be there. The facility has upgraded, the grounds were clean, inside was well kept. The residents were so happy. The atmosphere has improved so much.
