The owners of the store Mr. Michael & Mrs. G had a welcome attitude. The store is a combination with an abundance of African themes. The boutique, clothing, home decor, library, hygiene, essential perfume oils, jewelry etc. The owner gives knowledge on certain products you may have questions about, to the best of their abilities. Unfortunately, the store does not have any kind of restrooms available. If, you need an a restroom. You will have to go to nearby local stores or restaurants. I'm unsure of non-service or service support animals are allowed or not in the store. Personally, I never had a bad experience within this place. I'm aware everyone has different experiences. Please keep in mind, some store owners may not always be in favor of pets or animals within their business. For any given reasons such as phobia, allergies, pets not being properly potty trained, or hair shedding might get on the clothes etc. If, you have any questions or comments, or concerns. I could get products similar to whats sold here in other stores, but I specifically go to this shop for the environment and wonderful customer service. Every time I go to Winston, I have to make a stop into this wonderful place just to see what new things she has. It's so uplifting to go in and have a conversation with the owner. She helps me find new things each time I go. I highly recommend this lovely shop.

First of all, their staff is so hospitable. They’re so warm, welcoming, and helpful every time I stop by. They have a wide range of stylish African jewelry, apparel, and artwork. I love their skin and hair care products, especially their soaps. This is just brushing the surface of all the other quality and unique products they carry. Their one of my favorite places to visit on Trade Street in downtown Winston-Salem.

Only place to go to buy your hallmark ornaments. We made it a tradition for years now between charlotte and the pop up one in the mall, refusing to go back to the mall I was glad to find the store. My only struggle is finding the ornament we want on the wall to the box at the bottom and then to get home to find it was broken. Guess thats my fault for not opening and looking but still will go back!

Always friendly and helpful staff! Excellent assortment of gifts, cards, stationery, clothing items and gift wrap options. There are very few stores like this left, where you can always find what you need for any occasion! Also, their store hours are convenient; even open Sundays.

Great selection of cards. Variety of gift items and other things. Very friendly staff. Clean and tidy. Practices social distancing and mask-wearing, otherwise I would not go in.
