VIRGIL'S REAL BBQ REVIEWS

Hands down the best BBQ place I've been to in years. Tried it out when me and my family visited in April and we were seated right away. I got Loaded Fries and they were spectacular. But the best thing is the Mac & Cheese, I highly recommend or you'll be missing out on good food. Also get the fried pickles as they were pretty tasty. Kudos to our server checking in often and kudos to the place being clean. However, my only problem was it was pretty loud inside and was tough to hear the waiter speak. But when I come back to the NYC area, I'll stop by in Virgil's again.

Our server Erin was fantastic. The food was delicious. The cornbread was so amazing and unique. BBQ nachos were out of this world. Atmosphere was very comfortable. Prices were very reasonable for the Manhattan location.

Laid back place with great service and very good BbQ. If you are looking for some decent food with reasonable prices for Manhattans and most friendly staff in Manhattan this is your place. Erica our sever was the best.

Very impressed by this restaurant! The restaurant is huge and a very sociable place. I love the layout because the dining area is huge and you feel like you’re on the streets but you are really not. Server was on point and food arrived fast and hot. I had the sweet and sticky wings which were HUGE. If you try these, one order is enough for two. The wings were soaked in a wonderful sweet mustard sauce. I also had the Mac and cheese which was excellent. It was piping hot and made with real cheese. Would highly recommend this restaurant!

This place was great. The food was good and the service was great. We were seated very quickly and the food came out fast. The ribs and chicken was very tasty and they even gave us a free dessert. We didn’t have to have a reservation. I would go back and would recommend this place to others.

Great BBQ spot that is a must when visiting NY. I ordered the sticky wings were and they were very good and the Henny colada was everything and more. Service was great, we were seated fast and the food came out very fresh and at a reasonable time.

This barbecue spot delivers on all fronts. The food is consistently delicious, with perfectly smoked meats and flavorful sides that hit the spot every time. The atmosphere is laid-back and inviting, making it a great place to relax and enjoy a meal with friends or family. The cocktails are strong and well-crafted, adding an extra kick to the dining experience, and the prices are reasonable for the quality you get. The only minor downside is the location, which might be a bit out of the way for some, but honestly, the food and drinks more than make up for it. You can’t have everything, but this place comes pretty close!

Absolutely loved this place! We dined here on our first day in Brooklyn, and it was such a great choice. This American BBQ restaurant has a spacious seating area and a menu packed with a variety of barbecue options. My partner and I enjoyed our meal so much—I especially loved the BBQ chicken, while my partner couldn’t get enough of the BBQ ribs. Every server we interacted with was incredibly friendly, making the experience even better. Can’t wait to come back the next time we’re in Brooklyn!

Amazing food, excellent service and great atmosphere. My friend’s barbecue trio featured tender meat with delicious sauce. My catfish was superb, perfectly seasoned. Great sides; my favorites were the potato salad and corn bread. Across the board, generous portions and surprisingly reasonable prices. The servers were outstanding—friendly and attentive, an effective team. Wonderful dining experience, looking forward to my next visit.
