LOMBARDI'S REVIEWS

Lombardi’s is a historic spot and definitely worth a visit if you're in NYC! The atmosphere is classic and cozy, and the service is friendly and attentive. The pizza is solid—authentic, with a great thin crust and quality toppings. However, I found the garlic to be a bit overwhelming for my taste. It was very garlicky, which took away from the overall balance of flavors. If you love garlic, you'll definitely enjoy it, but for me, it was a bit too much. Still, I’d definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a taste of NYC pizza history.

The pizza was outstanding!! The Bruschetta was delicious!! This is a must try since it is speculated that this is the first pizzeria in America. Our server was excellent. I would give this place 5 stars if they accepted cards.

Oldest pizza place in New York. Definitely our favorite - the salads were delicious as well. Nice quick service and a friendly atmosphere. The place is cash only but there is an atm on site.

JOHN'S PIZZERIA OF TIMES SQUARE REVIEWS

John’s Pizzeria of Times Square is a must-visit for pizza lovers. The ambiance is unique, housed in a converted church, creating a lively and cozy atmosphere. The brick-oven pizza was perfectly crispy and flavorful, with fresh ingredients that stood out. We also tried the fried calamari, which was crispy and delicious, and the shrimp marinara, which was hearty and satisfying. Service was efficient despite the busy crowd. While it’s a bit on the pricier side, the quality and experience make it worth it. A great spot for families and tourists alike.

If I could give the atmosphere a higher rating I would. This is by far the most unique place I’ve eaten at in NYC, located in an old church building with the stained glass ceiling still in tact. The pizza is wood fired and delicious. If you have the time I strongly encourage you to stop by and experience this amazing restaurant.

We got the spicy chicken pizza with extras and it was fantastic. The deco was on point as well. No need to book in advance since they have plenty of sitting area. Overall a really nice place to try.

My wife wanted to bring me to Joes Pizza and I am glad she did. We came on our first day for slices and I immediately fell in love. The cheese slice was out of this world. We also tried the tomato basil which became my favorite, and the tomato mozzarella which was excellent as well. We loved it so much that we came back the next day before leaving to grab full pies to take with us. I also want to apologize to Alex for the confusion during our order. There was a lot of pressure with the long line and I got mixed up. He handled it with patience and professionalism. Yes, the line is long, but it is absolutely worth it. The flavor, the crust, the simplicity, everything reminds you why Joes Pizza is a New York City classic. We will always stop by Joes Pizza whenever we are in the city. It has officially become our tradition.

A fun, fast-paced, and busy pizza joint with delicious slices made with quality ingredients. Friendly and knowledgeable staff keeps the long lines moving.

The hype is real. Great pepperoni, white pie and Sicilian. The line is long but it goes by quickly.
