Best Chinese food I have ever had in my life! There can be a wait and there almost always will be because the food is that good. It was about a 30 minute wait to get a table. It is a very loud atmosphere so be very mindful of that.

10/10!! Chinatowns best restaurant. It’s been two days and we are still talking about how amazing the food was. Soup dumplings are a must when visiting, the orange crispy beef was AMAZING. Line was so long but SO worth it. Cash only, but they do have an ATM.

I’ve been to Joe’s Shanghai for over 2 decades and absolutely love their soup dumplings. I would have to say they have the best soup dumplings because of their soup inside the dumpling. The soup adds such a savory flavor to the dumplings that no other dumplings shop has. Besides their dumplings, everything else on the food menu is mediocre at best, leans toward the liking of traditional tourist chinese food.

They offer a wide variety of delicious dim sum dishes, from flavorful dumplings to fluffy buns. But the real star? Their Original Egg Roll — it’s huge, packed with flavor, and unlike anything I have ever tried! Located in Chinatown, Nom Wah is a favorite spot for locals and tourists alike. Pro tip: Book a reservation because this iconic spot is always bustling!

Excellent Dim Sum, huge portions, cheap prices. It’s nothing fancy but there is a reason this place is a not so best kept secret spot in NYC. It’s small so get there early! A must dine for dim sum lovers & those visiting NYC and looking for an authentic Chinatown experience.

Nom Wah Tea Parlor is one of those places that feels like stepping into history—and it’s the kind of history you want to eat. The vibe is super old-school Chinatown, and it’s charming as heck. You come here for dim sum, and trust me, it delivers.

This is pretty authentic chinese food. Great experience. Some of the waiters are a little rough on the English but be sure you explain what you want and use Google translate if you must. Everything is made to order so be prepared to wait if it's busy. It's a small place with only 10 tables but it didn't seem to be very loud. I ate the Buddha's Delight for my main dish and it was without hesitation, the best I've ever had anywhere. The vegetables were 100% on point and bursting with flavor.

Authentic Chinese food. Reminds me of back in the days Chinese restaurants. For those that know, know lol. The service is great, restaurant isn’t huge but it’s workable. Spacious enough to not feel on top of the next person. We ordered shrimp and garlic with with fried rice, and shrimp lo mein. Sooooooo good. Hands down the best. Definitely going back. Think I found my new spot.

The food was top notch! Everything was delicious and large portions for a decent price. My favorite was the duck lo mein. Authentic Chinese food - 5 stars.
