3 Best Bridal Shops in Richmond, VA

Buying my dress at Urban Set was one of the most fun parts of my whole wedding planning process. The shop is by appointment and only takes one appointment at a time, so I felt completely comfortable and taken care of while trying on the dresses. The selection is very carefully curated and the shop has a really wide range of styles and sizes available, so while I went in sort of knowing what I wanted, I still got to try on a variety to really solidify my choice. The stylists are incredibly knowledgeable, and of course just so much FUN (shout out especially to Chelsea and Ruth, but everyone is just delightful). I also really appreciated how low-pressure the experience was. Even though I found my dress at my first appointment, I was encouraged to take a couple days to think it over before committing. My dress was PERFECT and everything I wanted!

Happened to be in Richmond over the holidays visiting my sister, and saw that this boutique had a dress that I liked while glancing on the internet. At first I was hesitant to schedule an appointment since I was taking time away from family, but I decided I HAD to try this dress on because if I didn't, there was no where else I would be able to as no other boutique had it local to me. Thank goodness I did, because it ended up being THE ONE! There were plenty of other dresses that I tried on that were just beautiful, had I not liked the original dress I intended on trying on, I guarantee I would have still said yes to another dress while there. Ruth was amazing, had such a fun energy and made the whole experience exactly how I imagined! Highly highly recommend :)

12/10 Experience! As someone who has been in the wedding space I had a massive fear I would not find a gown I loved. JOKES ON ME - I loved the first dress I tried on. Amazing experience in such a welcoming and warm environment. I'll forever recommend Urban Set to anyone who gets engaged!

I’ll start by saying, Annalise bridal boutique saved my wedding day! A few months before my wedding the seamstress I was working with dropped off the face of the earth, I was left with no dress and had to start over. I knew this was not going to be an ideal situation for any bridal salon BUT the team from Annalise pulled some magical strings and helped me get the wedding dress of my dreams! I was able to reach out over email, explain my situation, I let them know what I was looking for and thanks to their strong relationships with the designers, the dress I loved was ordered, shipped and delivered within a matter of days. Whether you’re in a pinch (like me) or shopping a year in advance, I can’t recommend their services more. So thankful for the team at Annalise!!

While doing the preverbal wedding dress shop tour of Richmond- I had an appointment at Annalise Bridal. Our attendant was so helpful and really made finding dresses and trying them such a fantastic experience. At other shops we didn't always have the same amount of attention to detail nor the time to space to really capture all the moments of the dress try on experience. Annalise Bridal delivered. I found my dress and they connected me with a seamstress to make my dress my own.

They have such a large selection of dresses to choose from, and they catered to every need or request I had. I found my dream dress, and I really could not have picked a better bridal shop!
