The New Gold Medal Restaurant has a good selection of breakfasts. The interior has ample seating and even has an upstairs for overflow. New Gold Medal Restaurant has been one of the best places to find food late at night or early in the morning. The restaurant has two levels and offers different Cantonese dishes, along with a counter for roasted meats and wonton noodles. The diner can order the $7.50 special for a delicious monk's style mixed vegetable deluxe dish. You may choose porridge with a pastry made of fried dough. Customers can also watch as they have an open kitchen at the front entrance.”

This Chinese restaurant has become my absolute favorite! The noodles are hand-pulled and made right here, and it’s a game-changer. The dumpling soup is packed with flavor, and I also tried the spicy chicken noodles. They had the perfect amount of spice and a delightful doughy texture. The shan dong chicken is a must-try - it’s got the perfect ratio of breading to chicken, and it’s crispy in every bite. The dumplings were bursting with flavor, and the sauce they come with really takes them to the next level. I love my food spicy, so I added some chili oil to everything. The tea was also a nice accompaniment to the meal. I arrived on a Thursday evening, just before the rush, and there was a line out the door for dine-in, as well as a lot of takeout orders. The staff was super friendly and quick. I wish I had taken more photos because the food was beautiful.

We tried this place because of the crowd outside and figured the food was good! Table for 2 seated within 5 min on a December Friday night at 7pm! Lovely tea while waiting. Food arrived quickly and the portions were enormous! Any entree could easily be shared by multiple people! We ordered the Sweet and Sour Soup, Spicy Chow Mein with hand pulled noodles (sub chicken for shrimp) and Moo Shu Vegetables. I appreciated that they asked if we were comfortable with the meat in each of the dishes and were able to make substitutions. Everything Yum :) We ate as much as we could and still had to go boxes for everything. Great spot!

This is a hidden Mom and Pop gem. My friend told me to get the Sesame hand pulled noodles and what an amazing dish. So much flavor and the portions are large. Very good spot for Chinese food all together. Definitely recommend this spot!

This is a nice spot with quick and responsive service. First time here and the hours really accommodate late night eating without compromising taste.

Ambience is okay. food was great. we ordered the wonton soup, salt and pepper porkchops, beef with scallions, and yang chow fried rice. big servings so definitely worth it.

Awesome place for laid back, casual Cantonese food. Had their wonton and duck noodle soup. The wontons had big chunks of shrimp, and the duck was a nice mix of cuts. Bonus points for springy noodles.

If you are around china town, you must go here!! The food is delicious and the service very fast! They serve hot tea for everyone while you wait. My favorite dish is the fish in garlic paste and chilli oil. It is sooo delicious and savory. The fish is enough for 2 people if you get some rice! Highly suggest getting the garlic sauteed eggplant as well.

Dine is cash only Food is great. We had three dishes and they all met or exceeded expectations in terms of flavor and portions. Service was fast and efficient. Dishes came out within 10 minutes of ordering them. Parking: Parking is easiest in yellow zones after 6 pm if you are doing dinner.

Great affordable food in a nice place. They are now inside hot pot house. The mapo tofu is delicious and the beef and broccoli is great. The couples delight is a great app or the scallion pancake is delicious.
