Joe Bealke is a master craftsman. He simply works magic with wood. He is very creative with his designs and uses only the finest materials. He has built furniture, a beautiful wine room and redone our bar area as well as many smaller jobs. We have been exceptionally pleased with all his work. He is honest, meets deadlines and a delight to deal with. We can recommend him without exception.

We were looking for a double vanity and were very impressed with the top of the line craftsmanship and hardware that Roy used in making our vanity. I would highly recommend Wood Gem. It also was nice to know that Roy has been a craftsman for over 35 yrs and it shows.

As a designer/contractor, I really like this company. I have not found a better solid-maple, fully-upgraded factory-finished cabinet at this price point in DFW. It isn't always a match for every project we do, but when we need a semi-custom shaker-style cabinet, which is a lot of the time, it works out pretty great.
