Our daughter has been attending Busy Bee for the last 3+ years. We were very selective when we where choosing a day care for our daughter. We found that Busy Bee to met the criteria we identified and provided additional benefits we have come to rely on. Busy Bee's curriculum is ever evolving and is curated to the needs of children that attend each classroom. The curriculum includes traditional age appropriate educational topics as well as assist children develop cultural and emotional awareness. We found that every teacher/assistant recognizes that not every child's/parent's needs are the same and will work together with the parents to a identify program or approach that is acceptable and can be reinforced at home and school. The staff (from full time teachers to part time assistants to Administrate staff) shows incredible care, kindness, and love for the children. The communication is frequent, personal and direct. The staff works to ensure communication to and from from parents and staff is as seamless as possible. Having our daughter was one of the best decisions we made when we moved to Philly. Busy Bee became more than our daughter's day care; it is a family that we joined and that we are fortunate to be a part of.

My son is almost 2 1/2 and he has been attending Busy Bees Learning Center at the Curtis center since he was three months old. I’ve always been very happy with the feedback I got on my child’s development from the infant room, the one year old room, and now the two year old room. He comes home having learned things that I know that we have not taught him. We also get very detailed development reports. Most importantly, I feel that he has had the opportunity to interact with other children and really great teachers/caregivers, who truly care about him. Some of his former teachers have babysat for him at our home and have been equally professional and that setting.

I've sent 2 kids here and have had a wonderful experience. My son adores his teachers, and everyone else too - the staff really is a team, and everyone knows his name and everyone we see is just so warm and excited to greet him every morning. He asks about his teachers and friends all weekend and is always excited to go to school on Monday! My daughter graduated over a year ago and every now and then she comes to help me pick up her brother, and everyone remembers her too. It's just such a warm, loving place, and I've recommended it to many friends!

I cannot speak highly enough about our experiences at the KinderCare Avenue of the Arts. Between our two daughters, we've been with the center for 4.5 years, and I know it's like a second home for them. The creativity, kindness, and thoughtfulness that the teachers show is amazing, even to children in different classrooms. They do an excellent job of engaging and entertaining the kids while teaching them important life skills. I can't imagine having chosen a different daycare center, and I truly feel like the teachers (and admins) care about the success and happiness of my kids.

We've been at Kindercare AoA for about 18 months, since our son was just under 5 months old. I never miss a chance to recommend this daycare to a friend. Staff goes above and beyond to support my son through all kinds of phases and transitions. While more expensive than some others we toured, we've learned why over the years: in addition to all the supplies and food they provider, they are open on many days of the years when other daycares are closed and their open hours are extremely accommodating towards all different kinds of families.

We have been sending our daughter since she was 3 months old and have had nothing but an excellent experience. All of the teachers and staff have cared for our daughter as if she were their own family member. The “curriculum” and activities they have for the infants are perfect and her development has progressed so beautifully since sending her to KinderCare Avenue of the Arts.
