Cherry Hoggs

We sent our 3.5 year old pittie rescue mix to Cherry Hoggs for about 1 month and saw noticeable improvement in her leash manners and behavior at home. Most importantly, Frankie and Charlie taught us the techniques we needed to work on our dog's behavior at home with regard to impulse control. It's been a few months since we've started implementing these techniques, but it's really paid off and she is a much better behaved dog who knows who the "alpha dog" is :-). Working with our friends at Cherry Hoggs changed the game in helping us with our new 1 yo rescue dog. Charlie came in to our home, met our pup and immediately went to work with a bit of leash training and pro socialization tips for fearful and skittish dogs. Cherry Hoggs gave us the knowledge and support we needed to set up us and our new pup for succes

Cherry Hogg is recommended by the rescue I work with and I've taken my own teenage terrier for training and daycare. Charlie was fantastic at giving me feedback on what issues my dog needed to work on and gave advice on how to continue training at home. Charlie and Frankie are easy to work with and I highly recommend them.

We are so thankful to have found Cherry Hoggs. We decided to foster a 1 year old Golden. As it turned out, he was highly reactive/defensive toward other dogs and at times he would react to us when we tried to stop him. This little guy was headed for a very restricted life if we had not found Frankie and Charlie. They welcomed him into the boot camp, they clearly and assertively taught him social skills and how to be more confident without defaulting to defensive behavior. He now runs and chases with the other dogs. It is a joy to watch them learn and play. Still a work in progress. We are learning so much on how to help him. He is a happy dog with a lot of energy.
