The Basilica of Saint Mary is a group rooted in Jesus Christ's Gospel. The Church offers excellence in the liturgy, development of faith, pastoral care, and hospitality. The building was designed during the period 1907-1915. Research inside, begun in 1922. It provides free year-round tours (except holidays and holy week). The marble statues which surround the shrine depict the apostles. The chapels of reconciliation are built to strengthen the Sacrament of Reconciliation celebrations. It is a meeting place for people of all religions and races, a center for the arts, and a chapel for the needy.

They celebrate the Mass 17 days a week, and the Reconciliation Sacrament 8 days a week. It has more than 100 parish musicians include choruses and ensembles that represent the highest standard of liturgical music. Saint Olaf Church also accepts performing artists who demonstrate musical, artistic excellence. They give the atmosphere which is exclusive and convenient. 'Our Lady of Lourdes Church' was established in 1877, and the oldest continuously used church in Minneapolis. It was declared a US historic site in 1934 and is the first parish in the US named after Their Lady of Lourdes in memory. The church's structure demonstrates two distinct architectural forms. This culture has continuously worshipped here for over 135 years. Their Stained glass windows, one pair at a time, were built in the late 1890s and early 1900s. The Parish priest plays a significant liturgical role in preparing the sacristy areas as well as the sanctuaries for the regular and weekend liturgies.
