The school is co-owned and operated by instructors Erick Mays and Steven Rose, both of whom have extensive experience teaching Driver's Education in the classroom and on the road with teenagers on the Peninsula. With over 15 years of teaching experience, their instructors are dedicated to creating a positive, calm, and attentive atmosphere during driving lessons. Peninsula Driving School LLC also serves the driving school needs of Hampton, Yorktown, and Poquoson. Their prices are considerable and fair. The student will be issued a temporary driver’s license which is valid for six months.

The best experience ever I called them after taking driving lessons in NY and learning barely anything I moved to Virginia permanently and found Peninsula driving and they changed the game for me I am so grateful for them and the best instructor ever name Eric was thee best hands down he had my back through the whole process tough love and he's so cool chill respectful and only wants the best for you I felt like I've know him forever that's how great the experience was he was quick affordable and effective I got my driver's license thanks Eric
I would highly recommend this driving school. The instructor and owner, Mr. Mays, was quick to respond and kept me informed with what was going on all through the week. My son felt comfortable behind the wheel with him as well. The whole experience was easy and smooth from the time I contacted them to the day my son passed his driver's test.
