COMFORT SUITES NEWPORT NEWS AIRPORT REVIEWS

Hands down one of the best hotels I've stayed at in a very long time. Lady at the check-in counter was extremely friendly and helpful getting us checked in. Service with the entire staff was excellent, can't brag enough about how helpful and courteous they were. Breakfast was a great start to the day, with lots of options and the lady running the kitchen was extremely helpful, kind, and attentive. She even went the extra mile and got my kids chocolate milk without me even asking her. Near the swimming pool was a little area with drinks, food, meds, etc that were pretty much on par with what you would spend at a gas station, but more convenient since you don't have to drive anywhere to get it. Cleaning staff ensured our room was clean and fully supplied, and towels and linens replaced daily with fresh. Beds were very comfortable as well. Location was great as we weren't right on the main road so it wasn't noisy from the traffic outside. Very convenient to many different restaurants, as well as close enough to both Busch Gardens and the beaches as well.

Our room was just right for my two daughters and myself. The location was great and close to plenty of businesses. Olive Garden is directly in front of the hotel. The staff was friendly, especially the lady that was at the front desk the weekend my family and I were there. Breakfast is included. The hotel was pleasantly quiet that weekend. Due to getting our hair done, we were unable to use the pool. There are snacks available for purchasing when the eating area is closed after breakfast or if you want a late night snack. Great place, and I would use that hotel again.

My family and I had a great stay at Comfort Suites in Newport News! It was our first hotel experience with our 8 month old and it went very well.

NEWPORT NEWS MARRIOTT AT CITY CENTER REVIEWS

Amazing stay in a beautiful area. The staff at this hotel makes it what it is…a relaxing and enjoyable experience. Andrew was especially attentive and helpful. There is a beautiful fountain by the hotel and a number of great restaurants. All within walking distance. Definitely a 10 out of 10 experience.

I can't express enough gratitude for the incredible team at Marriott. Their kindness and attentiveness went above and beyond when I lost a diamond earring down the shower drain. Not only did they respond swiftly, but their dedication and care in finding it truly speak to their commitment to guest satisfaction.

I attended a work conference here and I had a wonderful experience. The staff were extremely nice. I had a small hiccup on the first day regarding misinformation however Gale the hotel manager was very understanding and I was extremely grateful. Taylor one of the guys who helped with the bags was extremely nice and helpful as well.

HOLIDAY INN EXPRESS & SUITES NEWPORT NEWS REVIEWS

The room is spacious and clean mostly. I like many things about this hotel: strong water pressure, king sized bed does come with king size pillows, nice window shade design that blocks the morning light much better than other hotels in the area, lots of outlets and USB chargers for traveling with family and friends, free breakfast, etc. However, since the hotel is near highway, one can hear the car noise all night, especially if you are in the smaller number of the hotel rooms. The heater is pretty loud too. I ended up turning it off but running it for very warm room half an hour before bed. If these noise issues can be improved, such some noise absorbing material near the wall, update on the AC/heater unit, I would stay here every time I visit the area.

The hotel was great. Stayed there twice and would do it again. The rooms are nice, even if there is a bit of wear and tear that show. And the pool was nice, even if a bit cold. Totally recommend it.

Front desk man was the best. Very detailed, super friendly. Don't recall his name, but white rounded face. Probably 30's.
