Erica helped us from the beginning all the way thru. She was great. She helped us figure out all the details and arrangements needed. The funeral was a really nice service from the flowers to the photos, everything turned out nice. Very professional and respectful. I highly recommend Affordable cremation and burial.

Affordable allowed myself and family, the best home going celebration beautiful. With their help of making the available space beautiful. They accommodated the small overflow. The intercom for the music was wonderful. They very attentive to all of our needs. I felt my husband last visual moment was wonderful. The loss of a child at any age is the most devastating thing that can happen to you. We were reeling, no idea what to do. Melvin Richins from DFH contacted us in the morning following the death of our son Miles 38. His body had been taken there at our request. His calming demeanor and kind compassion helped to ground me, there was no pressure to do anything, in fact he told us to take our time. His assurance that Miles was safe and being cared for gave us a chance to think. We arranged to view our son privately prior to cremation. Our son looked at peace, no more pain. Melvin guided us through the paperwork and honored our choices every step of the way. Never once did he try to sell us anything, never once. His still is the calming voice through this most distressing time. Nevada has rules and procedures that we did not understand. Melvin and DFH staff took us step by step through everything. It has been 3 weeks now, Miles should be cremated and returned home by next week. We are confident his remains will be treated with the respect he deserves.

Everyone had just the right amount of "sorry for your loss" while maintaining pleasant faces and tones of voice. That may sound a bit snide, but I cannot fathom how it must be to have to be sorry for everyone's loss several times a day and mean it. They seemed to mean it. I started with Karsten T Brown. A fabulous young man who referred me to Sofia at a sister crematorium. Sofia was also very nice and very knowledgeable.
