Walnut Lawn Funeral Home recently assisted my dear friend, Marilyn Owens in the services for her Veteran husband, Keith Ray Owens. Laurie was very kind, considerate and patient with all that transpired from finalizing the service to inclement weather issues. She went above and beyond her professional duties to take care of things on a very personal level, including the unfortunate necessity of rescheduling Keith's funeral due to weather. She is outstanding and Walnut Funeral Home is outstanding.

Herman Lohmeyer Funeral home handled my granddaughters arrangements 14.years ago. We were in shock and they were absolutely wonderful taking care of everything for us. Again, march 23rd, 2025 we asked them to do my precious daughter Shona Pitts, service. Felicia was very attentive and accommodating. Paul helped with setting up flowers and lighting we asked for. Just a big WOW and thank you to Herman H. Loymeyer funeral home! This is best funeral home in Springfield, MO and I highly recommend you use them. My father had suddenly passed away and I had no experience in what's needed to be done for a funeral. I know without Kent's help it would of been one hell of an ordeal to figure out. We have used Herman H Lohmeyer two times now for Direct Cremation and they went above and beyond both times. Rebecca was very helpful and she even helped me get the death certificate mailed to Colorado after the cremation was done. The fees at this funeral home were also way less than others there in Springfield.
