I am privileged to do the counters in all of black oak homes. I have worked with many builders and Akeem is definitely one of a kind. His homes are set apart from any other custom home I have worked on or designed and I am in and out of custom homes daily. Akeem is also a builder that takes the time and come in to pick his selection himself. He also stops by the fabrication shop and checks on the fabrication of his countertops, he always picks a higher level material where most builders won’t go past a level 2. Everytime it’s a level 6 with his homes. Akeem goes above and beyond and adds all the extra touches he can like the massive islands, mitered or laminated edges he is definitely not afraid to spend money to ensure the best of the best stone throughout his homes. So much detail into every home he builds and so much creativity into every decision made. I normally don’t leave reviews for my builders but this builder is set apart from the rest. I also just purchased my personal home through black oak homes and out of all the builders I work with and all the builders I know and I hear of them all in this industry this is the one I know is quality! I knew I had to have a black oak homes after working with him for 5 years I knew I had to purchase my home through this builder. I’m extremely happy with my dream home.
