3 Best Hotels in Colorado Springs, CO

We recently stayed one night at the Cheyenne Mountain Resort, and not often do we leave reviews. Our family had such a wonderful stay. The rooms were well maintained, clean and inviting. We ate at two of the restaurants for dinner and breakfast, food was great. The staff was exceptionally friendly and helpful. We loved that we could stay and swim at the resort year round pool. And that there were options to swim at the adjacent country club. View was spectacular. We would love to come back for another visit. The added s’mores pack was a great way to end the evening! Highly recommend for those traveling to see Cheyenne Mountain Zoo.

Fantastic place to stay with mountain views. Stayed in cripple Creek Lodge. Comfy beds with lots of great pillows. Heater/ac works great. Dinner on property was delicious and service on point. Dog friendly property too in case anyone needs it. Outdoor gas fireplace with mountain views and indoor lodge fireplace in common areas.

I attended a multi-day writing seminar here. The staff was very friendly, helpful, and happy to assist at all times. The lunch and dinner buffets and food in the bar area were good, but not as good as their prices would make them seem. This is a cashless property, so be prepared to pay for everything with a card.

Absolutely beautiful. We booked this for a night out of town (from Aurora seeing a concert) and wanted 'something nice'. To say this exceeded our expectations would be an understatement! The lobby, checkin and restaurant/bar were stunning! The decor, furniture, and wall items were all very classy and tasteful but unique enough to fit the hotel. We dont drink, but the barkeep didnt mind us sitting at the counter just chatting, or hanging out in the booths just having water. We were given a corner room and again our jaws hit the floor. Photos do not do it justice. The feel of the hotel is a very authentic, worn but well kept establishment. The bathrooms, windows, flooring, and trim are all quite dated but in great condition, and thats what we were looking for. If you want cookie-cutter sterile rooms then this may not suit your tastes.

Overall experience at this hotel was AMAZING!!!! First and foremost I want to give a shout out to Scott the night time front desk clerk. He helped answer alot of my questions to make our stay AMAZING! Location is great walking distance to my favorite chocolate candy shop Cacao Chemistry. The view of the mountains from the pool/arcade area were good but mostly enjoyed the pool tables. Range in the new year in a very comfortable place warm and entertaining. High Recommended needless to say I would definitely be returning.

Room was very comfortable, check in was a snap. Valet handled tall vehicle with ease, beds were soft and warm, AVAC was quiet and kept room right on temp selected. Shower had plenty of HOT water. Would gladly stay here again on next visit.
