We enjoyed our stay! We came to Des Moines for a competition at the events center and we were really pleased with the rooms, the BREAKFAST and free snacks from 9-7, the customer service and more. There’s a large area to pull up and park while checking in and loading / unloading. There’s FREE street parking on the south side of the bridge, so we paid $0 in parking for 4 days!!! The only things worth mentioning: Some of the bathrooms needed updating. The heat / AC situation was very confusing. Our room was best when we turned it off completely. Even set at 72 it felt like Antarctica Not sure.

The staff members were kind and helpful. I LOVED my room, great space for the price. The bar on-premise was a nice accommodation especially when there are complimentary drinks (2) from 5-7pm. I checked in after 9pm and took advantage of the free street parking, so convenient. I look forward to staying here again.

The view was absolutely amazing onthe 8th floor l. I love went there many times. The waterfalls are cool swimming cool. And very super quiet on thev8th floor we were facing the capital. But I love it .

I needed a place to stay while I finished moving from my apartment, and then to fly out early the following day. I was greeted by a friendly, professional clerk at the front desk. She recognized that I am a Rewards member and gave me a small bag with bottled water and cookies. I didn't use the pool, but I could see it from the hallway. It was large and inviting. My son used the hot tub, and said it was great. The hot breakfast was extraordinary. There were multiple options, bot hot and cold. I will stay here again when I need an airport hotel.

Wonderful! The ladies at the front desk were so sweet! They let us check in early even though they were quite busy checking people out and cleaning up after a conference. Our room was right by the pool but it wasn't musty at all. From 10 pm until 11 pm is adults only in the pool area. Sauna was awesome too! The courtyard and sunroom were an added bonus. Breakfast was hot, with plenty of protein options. 100% will stay here again.

The bed was extremely comfortable, and the room was clean. for the age of the hotel, it was in great shape and updated. would definitely stay here again if in the area.

Impressive hotel that does everything right. This is not just a place to stay while enjoying your experience in the city. This is a place you stay as an enjoyable destination in and of itself. The breakfast room is one of the most beautiful I've seen. Well done team.

Awesome main Marriot. Large foyer and sweeping lines.. Staff was very helpful in parking my car and accommodating my requests.. very happy with Marriot as a platinum Elite member. Private lounge area was a great bonus.

Outstanding up scale hotel. Our event went well and we were there 5 nights. Great local flare and amazing service.
