From the moment I arrived, the check in experience was seamless and welcoming. I was pleasantly surprised with a generous upgrade to a spacious corner room offering stunning views of the lazy river, an unexpected treat that elevated my stay. The M Club Lounge was a standout feature, providing an exceptional experience throughout my visit. Mornings began with a delicious and well stocked breakfast, while the evenings featured a fantastic happy hour with a selection of complimentary bites and the option to purchase expertly crafted alcoholic beverages, each one flavorful and well worth it. The staff were outstanding, consistently warm, attentive, and eager to ensure a memorable stay. Additionally, the conference facilities were top notch, offering a professional and well equipped environment for meetings and events. Overall, my stay was nothing short of fantastic. From the excellent service to the luxurious amenities, I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a premium experience.

It’s a tradition for my family and I to stay downtown on Christmas Eve and this year was one of our best years yet!! Antoinette at the front desk greeted us with a smile and was very welcoming. It was also my daughter’s 20th birthday celebration so she was kind enough to assign us a room with a pool view. She also informed us of our Elite benefits which included $25 voucher for any of the restaurants. Her service was top notch and it set the tone for an amazing stay! We especially loved the Texas Winter Lights. All of the staff at the pool were extremely friendly and helpful. Especially the manager Megan who was gracious enough to take time out of her busy schedule to take our annual Christmas photo by the “I TX” sign on the opposite side of the rooftop.

I was impressed from Ebony D. in Valet all the way to Dwayne the Director. Dwayne smiles through the phone and glows in person. Ebony was very polite, professional, smiled, and actively working. Dwayne the Director was and is awesome and exceeds expectations. What I heard on the phone is what I got in person. His hospitality, promotion of all departments, coworker relationship, and management skills is unmatched. His ability to problem solve, think outside the box, and work as a team is beyond expectations and blew my imagination. He definitely is a shining light and burst of energy and the reason why Marriott Marquis Houston will be my 1st choice moving forward.

Rooms were plenty spacious and comfortable bedding and sitting area. Room desk area provided ample charging stations for multiple electronic types. Lots of lamps with two grades of lighting available along with a large picturesque window. All the staff were kind, friendly, and promptly willing to assist visitors’ needs.

The hotel is beautiful. The rooms are large, and there are several electrical plugs for your workstation. Centrally located downtown, walking distance from several eateries. The bar area is well stocked and the food was very good. Shout out to the valet. They were friendly and fast.

Clean nicely appointed rooms, large modern up-to-date bathrooms. Friendly, efficient staff! A 24-hour Einstein's in the lobby that was amazing! Great customer service.
