When I reached out to Laura, I was a little nervous as I'd never used the services of an interior designer before. We moved into an open-concept new build, and there were just too many blank spaces that were keeping the house from feeling like a warm home. I wanted functional design and textiles that could stand up to cat claws and I didn't want to spend a fortune on any of it. Laura came up with so many creative options and was completely up-front about pricing, delivery time for materials, and what I could expect on installation day. She helped us find custom chairs for our dining table (which are comfortable and easy to clean), created a lovely powder room, suggested we use wallpaper to soften the somewhat stark white living room shelves, and more. My photos don't do these changes justice, but we would highly recommend Laura and her team. She will design based on your needs, tastes, and budget. She's never pushy. And her communication is excellent.

My first experience working with a designer, and so appreciated how Laura laid out the entire process, timetable, and budget expectations. It's a leap to buy a room full of furniture sight unseen, but really, Laura and her team know what they are doing and we couldn't be happier with the result. They took our likes and dislikes seriously, and really transformed the space with the right color, lighting and a couple of small suggestions that brought it all together. I am delighted every time I walk into our very cool living room.

Laura did an amazing job helping us in our design project. We needed new window treatments for three rooms in our home as well as new upholstery. She is organized, has great follow through. She is able to ask questions and determine what your style and goals are for a project. She came back to our home with numerous design options that were well thought out. We hired Tew Design to help us make the master bedroom of our dreams. We have absolutely zero interior design sense...and we worked with Frances Acevedo who was a great combination of calm and professional! We went from having no nightstands to having this chic, luxury hotel inspired room. The team listened to the things we really wanted, and pushed us in other areas to pick a bed frame color I'd never thought would look good but was absolutely PERFECT. It has transformed our room and really made it a calm, serene space with the blackout curtains of my dreams coming true. They are really great for truly handling ALL the big and little details where you don't even have to be home for the various service individuals you need. I really appreciated the bespoke service and we were so impressed by the electricians that we still use them to this day for our other needs in the home. It is not a small investment but it is so worth it when it changes the way you feel in a room. Only wish we could use them for every single room in our home.
