When I reached out to Laura, I was a little nervous as I'd never used the services of an interior designer before. We moved into an open-concept new build, and there were just too many blank spaces that were keeping the house from feeling like a warm home. I wanted functional design and textiles that could stand up to cat claws and I didn't want to spend a fortune on any of it. Laura came up with so many creative options and was completely up-front about pricing, delivery time for materials, and what I could expect on installation day. She helped us find custom chairs for our dining table (which are comfortable and easy to clean), created a lovely powder room, suggested we use wallpaper to soften the somewhat stark white living room shelves, and more. My photos don't do these changes justice, but we would highly recommend Laura and her team. She will design based on your needs, tastes, and budget. She's never pushy. And her communication is excellent.

My first experience working with a designer, and so appreciated how Laura laid out the entire process, timetable, and budget expectations. It's a leap to buy a room full of furniture sight unseen, but really, Laura and her team know what they are doing and we couldn't be happier with the result. They took our likes and dislikes seriously, and really transformed the space with the right color, lighting and a couple of small suggestions that brought it all together. I am delighted every time I walk into our very cool living room.

Laura did an amazing job helping us in our design project. We needed new window treatments for three rooms in our home as well as new upholstery. She is organized, has great follow through. She is able to ask questions and determine what your style and goals are for a project. She came back to our home with numerous design options that were well thought out. The most wonderful thing about working with a designer like Jill, is that she listens. She listens to the visions that you discuss, but also listens for the things you don't say -- she then uses it all to develop a wonderful space, beyond what you could have ever envisioned. Her eye for detail and extensive knowledge of the industry, makes her the ideal designer to work with (especially if you're a little challenged in design like me!). My living room is better than I could have expected.

I hired Jill to redo my family room and she did such a great job that I asked her to redo my dining room and front “parlor” . The front parlor was a big challenge because she was asked to use four pieces of Victorian furniture and modernize it. Her use of color is the best I have ever seen. Her taste is unique and the colors bring everything to life— even my mother’s 100 year old furniture! If I had the funds I would hire her again!
