mordeki charles, the owner of matem landscaping, is literally just leaving my home as i write this. he did an excellent job bringing our unruly driveway back to life. he thoroughly graded the entire drive before laying down the gravel. there was one small portion that he did not grade due to an electric line running beneath the area. he noticed this and instead of risking cutting the line, notified us of the potential to do so. this was very much appreciated. he also detailed how he varied the thickness of gravel due the curve of our drive, and recommended how to drive our cars over the new gravel until it settles. we were very impressed with his professionalism, knowledge and completed project. we asked if it would be beneficial or necessary to line the driveway with landscaping fence. he stated that it was not necessary outside of aesthetics, and we very much appreciated his honesty. we plan on asking his company to do this. while discussing that, he also informed that his company does landscaping in addition to interior and exterior house work, so we will be reaching out to him again for future projects. highly recommend.

Exceptional work! My husband and I had our entire driveway redone with new gravel, multiple areas of our yard graded/leveled, and several trees knocked down. Mordeki and his team did a wonderful job. Mordeki was very professional, punctual, and responded quickly to any and all calls/questions. They stayed until the work was done to our expectations. We had a tremendous amount of excavation done bringing dirt from the backyard into the front yard. There was an area of drainage that needed dressing and a 40 foot pipe was placed to help with drainage. Dirt was then moved over the pipe and regraded. The team worked long and hard hours with minimal breaks. Compared to other landscaping companies the price was fair and transparent. Everything was itemized, including the labor. I highly recommend Mordeki and his team!.
